Snap out of it you blubbering jessie.

your either in it to win, or you cave in and quit man.

get your rifle and go get em soldier

look up redundancy, and look at the four stages you go through.

your going through the stages, but arnt redundant.

you have a job, you are being denied the right to work.

prehaps nows the time to lodge another claim for constructive dismissal as well

selling the scoob is nowt,

back in the 80,s when i was part of the unemployment cycle, i sold my record and tape collection to make ends meet.. we didnt have a car back then.
we had a list drawn up of what would go if things got really bad..

your not at that stage yet, you only think you are

chin up chocolate, your made of sterner stuff

If you are really depressed I'm sure scoobyvirgin wil let you drive the Cinque again, just so you know things aren't that bad

Or if you really want to feel better, I'll tell you all about my ex and what I went through

Or simply, as Makus suggested (as it's the best advise ever posted on Scoobynet...)

Get out into the great outdoors - costs nothing and the fresh air is good for you. Dont take your mobile, ipod or anything else, just get into the countryside, find a nice quite spot and sit there and look at nature.

Puts a lot of things into perspective when you realise that worst case scenario is you end up on the dole, and you can spend every day looking at nature.

Works for me. How about hiring a canoe and pottering down a river for the day.

BIG bar of chocolate does it for me....

Choc, borrow a push bike and do some mileage, it's like driving only takes much longer....

Being fit always helps with raising your spirits.

P.S. Sorry to hear about the car.

****Deep Mode On****
Been in this position myself over the last year or so, just downright fed-up since i sold my Scoob, However concentrate on all the good things in life i.e. roof over your head, a nice girlfriend etc. as long as your not living in a cardboard box then things are not that bad plus you have your health etc. etc.

When i'm feeling like this i look at the poor buggers that cant afford their next meal or the kid in the wheelchair that just gets on with life and it puts things into perspective and i think bloody hell life aint that bad.

As above also, if its a nice day get out into the country and go for a nice walk, honestly it will make you feel loads better and getting out doesn't cost much or hit the gym.

Losing your job might be a blessing in disguise, you never know where you might end up.

For example a friend of mine used to work in a builders merchants, absolute feckin' **** pay and he was f**ked all the time, He lived for the weekend and never had a pot to p*** in.

He's now on television and has travelled the world and rakes in great money.

You never know what doors will open up for you.

Be positive and you'll get there.

p.s. i'll remind myself of this post when i'm on here whinging and moaning

1. Good hearty exercise, makes you feel better , they say

2. Morning spent drifting round charity shops and poundland

3. Get your tacke out and fish for your supper rest of the day

Go out, get pissed-sick all over your best suit! Nothing else will matter much after all that.

Sorry about all the problems Chocolate.

no money to go out and have a drink (one bottle of grolsch in the fridge).

struggling with my drawings as i cant motivate myself and my wrists getting worse. canny go get night work for reasons above and it could damage my claim if found out.

its affecting nat now too. were always arguing and shes mad at me for putting the car up for sale

My Mrs had her Corsa stolen several years back she wasn't bothered about the car but was really bothered about her underwear in the boot which she had changed out of for the night out.

You're not terminally ill nor are you dependent on others. FFS put it in to perspective and get on and do something constructive and think yourself bloody lucky.

Feel for you Chocolate i'm feeling really pissed off today too as i have been on the phone since about 9am this morning trying to sort out the brakes for my Scoob and still no joy. Feel like killing someone at the mo. I know its not as bad as your situation but thought i would share my feeling with you. My escape is that i am gonna go out on my bike this afternoon and scare the **** out of some innocent motorest. Love the look of shear terror on there faces.
