Martin, lovely choice of Chariot
If you go for the D spec your not far short of Veyron territory Power to Weight ratios.
New pants please....

Are they EVO roads, or should I book a diesel and pack my Right Said Fred CD like last time?

Rog

p.s. I looked in to a Murtaya based on an EVO - lovely car You should finally get under 12 mins in that, Martin

Can't wait, though I am having dificulty in getting a co-driver at present . Scooby undergoing engine and suspension rebuild at the moment, may just be ready for the Euro Combo, but these things always take longer than you think

Back to Powerstation in a few weeks for re-mapping once run in.

Running in is very boring!

PMSL write up is on TM website with some photos, the roads are full on tight and twisty with varied surfaces,

Stuart waiting for EC dates

"if you have to ask how much it's going to cost you wont be able to afford it"

So plenty of pics please guys

Go on Marv spill the beans, what you looking at? Merc, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lambo, Zonda, Audi, there aren't that many V12s out there? Oh and I will probably want a twin room, if I can persuade someone to come with me. Wife is not keen on the speed aspect though the scenery would suit, and I don't think the gf would take the time off work

Still in so far, and I'd probably be up for a twin room. Don't mind sharing again.

Ash your on the list price pending :-)

Out of interest would you be looking at a twin or double.

Jonny UK one option to reduce cost is to share room with another driver as the price is based on twin or double accom.

Off to South of France for next recce working north, last recce we drove 1250 miles in 1 1/2 days shame 50% is returning to the start point.

Cheers Stormy, i'm not that bothered about room cost i'm sure it's not THAT much is it? or do you guys stay at funky £2000 a night places? lol

What would be a rough ballpark figure for attending the trip taking into account accomodation, road tolls, crossings etc?

Also one last question, going on previous replies is this event more for people who drive 400bhp+ motors and supercars or can anyone come?

cheers

Jonny

Hi Jonny

I did it last year in a standard spec STi UK, so 260ish BHP, and had no trouble keeping up, or was everyone just being nice to the newbie

As for a ball park cost I reckon it was about £1500 - £2000, everything included. £600 on V-power alone.
But that was split between 2 people and spread over about 9 months as stormy offers a very nice payment plan.

It was worth every penny and money well spent, you won't regret it.

Second that about the cost - I did last year too, in a slightly-tweaked UK MY00 classic (about 250-260BHP). It's not all maximum attack driving, and it really was worth every penny . I did cut the costs a bit by sharing a room for the week.
Hoping for slightly better weather next year.
