Credit to both teams. I cant be negative about either team as I thought they both gave their all. Sympathy for Chelsea fans as I was ****ting it at the end and we all know what it's like to lose on pens so I'll not be throwing that in anybodies face.

Pleased for Scholes, Evra was immense, Ronaldo unplayable at times.

Drogba needs to look at his attitude to the 'team'.

PS That pitch was a disgrace!

Special mention for Bobby Charlton... 50 years since Munich and he's normally so reserved but you saw what it meant to him.

Good Game, Like i've said previously there is no shame in coming 2nd in the C/L especially when we played like that, Really, really wish it wasn't Terry who missed its gonna take him a while to get over that - I could kinda tell Anelka was gonna miss he didn't look composed at all, He didn't even look bothered the bum.

Drogba - Idiot, Why you slap someone in the very last 5 mins of a game right in front of the ref i don't know, If he didn't want to take a penalty he should've just said "no" not get himself sent off the muppet.

Finally the ref..........................If you had to say he was swaying toward one team which team would you say? Yep thought so the red side.

Ah well i never expected us to even get here when Mourinho left so i can't really complain.

Redknap and Suiness (spelling)? Not a good word to say about Man U, and loads of positives about Chelsea.
Were u watching the same game? A game of two halves for sure but you must have missed the 1st half it seems

Fair play to Chelsea - we should have walked it and buried the game in the first half. A rather fortuitous goal to equalise but Lampard still did well to score it.

2nd half complete role reversal and two shots off the woodwork for Chelsea.

Lots of slips, cramp and injuries from players. Pitch looked good to the eye but players tumbling all over the place. Weird about players complaining about blades having little grip and then carrying on with the same boots.

Excellent goal line header by terry but Giggs really should have done better - anywhere low and it was in.

What on earth drogba was on I dont know. The whole chelsea team complaining about tevez putting the ball out closer to cech just like theyd done several times previously. How you expect us to not do the same I dont know. At first I thought shiiiit Vidic is gonna walk at this rate - then the replay and you can see why. Ref had no choice.

Was shaking big time watching the pens. Thought we'd fluffed it when Ronnies was saved (crap penalty) and Terry had to score to win. Reminiscent of Beckham slipping. I thought it was in to see it hit the post. After that we had the shift of power I thought - and then it was down to Andy Gray. "Hmm Anelka has a short run up - I dont like those" bang it gets saved - the guy is an utter jinx!

Anyway a great game other than the numerous stoppages but the pitch had a lot to do with that. For once cant really take the **** outta chelsea as it could have so easily been us losing.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I feel sorry for Chelsea. I was watching it with 7 others, all neutral, and we all thought Chelsea edged it over 120 mins. Feel sorry for Terry slipping, took proper captains guts to go and take the 5th penalty.
good game.

Take the blue glasses off.

United should have been 3 up before you equalised.

The best FOOTBALLING team one.

Any team is lucky to win on penalties - it would have been the same for Chelsea if they won. I was referrring to Bob R's comment about Redknapp and Souness not having a positive word to say about Utd.

If your gonna use that one - we also had 3 clear cut chances one of which terry saved with a last ditch header. The only goal you managed to score was due to a lucky deflection off rio that put the ball right at Lampards feet.

Being a LIVERPOOL fan, yep, I wear red glasses, BUT NOT when Man Utd are concerned. I'll say it again, THE BEST FOOTBALLING TEAM WON.

Man United should have had the game buried in the first half, boring first 20 minutes but when Ronaldos header went in (what the eck was Essien playing at, useless at RB) the game picked up. From the second half onwards I thought Chelsea looked like they wanted it more, United looking a little nervy at the back. I hate Wes Brown but thought he played really well for United last night, fair play to him. Scholes playing pretty much a whole game with what is pretty much a broken nose, god knows how he was breathing lol.

When the Penalties started I said I'd love Ronaldo to miss and fek it all up and Chelsea to win, my dream was coming true but I also said I bet the pens will be lost by an Englishman taking it. WTF was they thinking giving the responsibillity of the last pen to Terry when Kalou still hadnt taken it crazy fools and deserve to lose it by trying to Bum the captain by letting him take the "winning" penalty.

Fair play to United though and IMO a great advertisement for English football around the world apart from the bickering.

p.s. Drogba is defo off to another club after that IMO.

Really? Tbh I think hes a refreshing change from the normal old farts that Sky employ. Didnt notice him being that pro Liverpool but thats a given I guess - Hansen is the same on the beeb.

Did frustrate me when he was banging on about Scholes deliberately fouling.

I watched on BBC, even though the picture is worse than Sky. I couldn't put up with Andy Gray for one second longer

Redknapp isn't pro-Liverpool in the slightest, or a decent pundit for that matter, can't stand him either.

Hangover is just about gone now

As others have said we should have been 3-0 up at half time, as soon as the equaliser (double deflection) went in I felt Chelsea would go on to win it, funnily enough I didn't even get stressed until the last penalty, I was more wond up during the semi and the Wigan game, I missed the Ronaldo goal whilst turning round to grab my pint, and went for a pish when Terry took his as I thought we were out, I could hear the cheers from the khazi and was pretty sure it was the Utd fans finally letting go after the Anelka save.

Both teams gave a very good showing of themselves and English football, the ref did an Ok job no bias towards either team imo, even the fans behaved themselves, so well done everyone, now lets have our victory parade, oh we can't, cheers Rangers thugs nice one.

What a night. Very nearly in tears seeing Charlton leading them up to claim the trophy. We may not have managed it in the derby, but we did in Moscow last night. For the babes.
