We know the sonic (think it's sonic) fence that surrounds the barracks is there to prevent the monster from getting in, to protect those inside. Obviously Ben went off to do something, wether that was to lower the fence (then again, hadn't Alex done that to allow Keamy and the other mercs into the area? yes, she entered a warning code, but obviously disabled the fence too. We have no idea wether she re-activated it though), or call to the monster, who knows. I'd say the monster is allied with the original inhabitants of the island, ie; the true others, and it was the DI that built the fence to keep it out, as the DI isn't really too friendly, and we're still not sure exactly what they are after.
Tell you what made me laugh when ben said to Sawyer and Locke "Didn't you think it was strange? a phone ringing?"

Christian is Claire's father, she is not aware that he is also Jack's father and thus Claire and Jack are half brother/sister. She is also unaware that Christian is/was dead (the reason for Jack being on flight 815, he was escorting his fathers coffin back home).
As we saw at the end of ep10, Christian appeared at the campsite and was holding Aaron, Claire woke up and went with him.
Christian is said to be speaking on behalf of Jacob, though he could have taken over, as when Hurley looked inside the cabin (think it was ep1 of Season 4) he saw someone in Jacob's rocking chair, and that was Christian, what we don't know is, whose face popped up at the window and freaked out Hurley.
Claire has, presumably been told what is going on by Christian, and she's not at all worried about Aaron not being with her, and knows the best/safest place for him isn't with her.
Hopefully the next two eps will give us a bit more info on what's going on. The preview for tonight's episode shows the Oceanic Six being so named, plus getting off what looks like a Cargo plane, so tonight could be when they are picked up by Sayid and taken off the island. It's my guess that the first group of people to go are the Six, and once they have gone, the Island is moved and thus Daniel's bearing will no longer allow passage to/from the island, which could account for why no-one else got off the island, well, certainly not by boat. Of course they could all have been offed by Keamy and his team.
I'm more curious to know what Keamy has on his arm. He told the Captain not to shoot at him, so perhaps it's an explosive of some sort, or maybe a remote detonator for a bomb?

We already know who the Oceanic 6 are though dont we? Jack, Kate, Jin, Sun, Hurley and Sayed?
I should imagine its some sort of bomb device, something to do with it working on his pulse so if anyone kills him the bomb gets set off?

Yes, we do (Jin does not make it off, Aaron does though), but we've not seen how they actually get off the Island. One presumes that they are ferried by Sayid to the Freighter, which Michael fixes, and then they sail off into the sunset.

i think that as the island can 'move' it picked up the polar bear on its travels. and i think that the thing on keamys arm could be a tracking device?? i bet the 6 get off the island, then john lock moves it like he was told to. and keamy will be on it with the thing on his arm.
