here's a mail I received from ralph at Milsport;

"Hi Ian,

Attached are the pictures although I do not have an image of the "normal" type in Black, black is black !!!
Regular type nuts will be £32.50 per set plus the P&P at around £4.00 per parcel sent direct to each individual by Royal Mail recorded 1st class.

Prices are:

Normal type (any colour) £32.50 per set (20)
Tuner style (any colour) £42.50 per set (20)

I am just about to do another order with the company I use in the states so if we get any interest I can increase it to cover.

Ralph"

pics of the standard nuts;

pics of the tuner nuts

Dont like the idea of the tuner style as there is a 6 steel point drive socket driving an aluminium 12 point nut.

Smells like agro waiting to happen to me??

Just thought I would pop by and have a look if there is any interest.

I do not understand why the company uses this picture.

In fact the tuner nuts have a 10 pointed/sided internal drive with a matching 10 sided tool supplied, in fact it is very similar if not identical to the one in the link above

Ralph

That sounds better Ralph, but clearly given the pictures you could see my initial concern.

Trails,

Have you given up on the Rays and work ones? Or are you just waiting on more getting back to you?

Sherlock
I have a couple of offers from two different suppliers (one in Hong Kong and one in the US), they have given me some prices but that was based on only five people...I'm trying to squeeze more money off as we have a possible eight

Rays - $119 each
Rays Extended - $135 each

Prices are only good this week. Japan is raising prices for Rays Lugnuts. Shipping will be $70"

Question

Are these any good/cheaper..?

eBay.co.uk Shop - JPS Trading Limited: Wheels: New Volk Racing Rays GTM 19 IS250 IS350 V35 G35 RX8 RX7

I'd prefer silver, but looks like it's not available, so black would be 2nd choice..

In what way are the security nuts secure, IYSWIM..?

Some nice ones here too:

have not seen silver so will put you down for black. Security nuts have a slot cut in them that only a specific tool will fit...hth

thats the Hong Kong connection!!! I've just had confired prices from him;

"GBP73.5 1 pack Short Shiped by express to UK.

GBP75.5 1 pack long shiped by express to UK

thanks
tim"

I think we have a winner!!

Me to, and the price Trails has sorted out with the "Hong Kong" connection is a good one too.

£73.50 1 pack short shiped by express to UK.

£75.50 1 pack long shiped by express to UK

I just don't know if i need long or short lugs or does it not matter?

Cheers Trails

Sherlock
