Isn't "Classic House" 87-90? With the advent of "The House Sound of Chicago" albums, Farley Jackmaster Funk, steve "silk" Hurely etc. I still have the Box set at home somewhere from when I was DJ'ing back in the 80's

Depends on country, i class anything pre 1990 (uk) as Rave & not so much House music, in Ameraca i would deffo class as house music pre '90 but not UK, 87 - 90 in the UK was acid house & rave
