my thoughts also. I know they are different games styles but cod4 feels like you are more immersed into the game.

 

when i can get online it is good but i get a lot of cannot connect but i agree its no way better than cod4 ive been on that tonight for longer than gta4
but they are different types of games

cod4 is a real life simulation (just beat my work mate 9-1 on cage match)cannot wait for morning

I suspect a patch may be in order for the online. I struggled to get into any public/ranked matches. However privately hosted games worked superb...

 

Could it be anything to do with your NAT settings?

 

I don't think it is NAT related as I can play any other Live game with no problems! Judging by all the comments on Xbox.com forums it seems to be a wide spread problem, hopefully they will sort it out...

 

I'll be guessing its just sheer volume - last night I switched the 360 on and it was a case of 23 friends online, 23 all playing GTA4.

I never tried any multiplayer though, was just settling down with the controls when I managed to flook what I think is one of the games harder achievments (survive 5 mins with 6 star wanted rating)

have loads more phone numbers for guns cars etc for those that want them
