PS3 was my choice for various reasons.

Both very good at what they do, some pro's and con's for both.

A bit like the Scooby Vs Evo debates in my opinion.

 

Im glad this thread came up because i cant decide which to get. Whats the prices of the two consoles now? I think i saw the 360 advertised at £160, thats not a bad price. A few friends have the 360 so i am swaying towards that for kickin there asses at Pro Ev online. Also thought Forza motorsport was awesome.

 

If your friends have 360s and are playing a game that you want to play, then it's a no brainer?

The £160 360 is the Arcade model that doesn't have a hard disc - you'll have to buy one sooner or later... only reason to get a 360 without a HDD is if you have one already and kicked out of the living room to play upstairs when Eastenders is on... (like me)

 

I had to make this decision a few months back. I have always been a Playstation guy and have always quickly got bored of the games I've had. I realised if I was to buy the PS3 then I would have only bought newer versions of games I had in the past. I went for the 360 and use it far more than I thought I would, I expected having sold it by now to be honest but i'm strangely addicted to trying to raise my gamerscore!
I've not since seen any games out only on the PS3 that I would have bought but have had a few on the X-Box (like Bioshock).
If I was to buy again, i'd still go for the 360

cheers for all of the responses ! i have a question for the xbox 360 online do you have to sign up to be a meber to use this feature or can you just plug and use your normal broadband connection like bt Broadband

 

You have to sign up mate. It costs £5 a month.
