Just a thought. I like keeping all my special pics in one place

He's my second OES. They are fun, upbeat dogs that love human company and 'rounding up' the family! Cuddle anyone
:
They can be a bit needy and insecure though - need loads of attention. REALLY good with kids and other dogs and make an ideal lap dog
:
There is loads of work with his coat mind - never underestimate this. I'm sure Jet's owner will have his handsfull too with that gorgeous black coat.
I let his get girlie long once (look at the tassle!), and then went to trim with some clippers I bought. Job was harder than I thought as can be seen from the middle pic!) So we keep it a mid length now, but you HAVE to brush every day.

I havent seen a bigger one than him actually. The chap he's givin some love to is 6'3"!!!

Happy to PM you more if you are thinking of getting one. GOD did we have the once over and 3d degree from the breeder to have him on every visit.
Anyway - one last pic - he is a proper working dog not a long haired ponce. This is him after a day down the pit

D
We've only had him for about 8 hours, my daughter has brushed him once and the hair was all over the place
I guess with it being so long and thick it will indeed be hard work.
He won't need hair cuts like yours though
Yours looks really affectionate too. Lovely dog

Diesel, he's lovely, how could you have done that to him in the shaved pics? Poor, poor dog
I have been told by the other half that on no account am I allowed to have one
We'll see
Lee, Jet looks well at home with you lot, Alex will love brushing his hair, it's a real girly thing, I used to spend ages doing my first dog's when I was young. Don't be surprised to see him with pink ribbons in eventually though
Is he still humping everything in sight?

Lovely dogs an all that, just far too hairy for me.
So can they paint or is that just a nasty rumour?

You brush 'em to get the hairs on the brush, not on the 'ouse! We keep ours short anyway (esp after my awful efforts trimming a long coat!!!!) so he really doesnt shed hair much at all. Go on, go on, go on!!!

D
and he did all the work getting the dog for us. Even down to sorting the delivery. For his first day, he is doing really well and the kids adore him already.
He is going to bed soon as I am run ragged
One thing all owners on here should be aware of us is the new additives in certain dog foods - apparently they are genetically modified things designed to give your dog super digging strength. They have been jointly developed with JCB and some dodgy Polish builders to become the next workforce for the country :

Could have got a job with the channel tunnel crew mate!
