Nope no tickets yet , Im finding out about what ythey want us to do regarding tickets when i call there office tommorow , Ideally pay on the day as it's late to start paying for tickets now

Id be very suprised if you can get in the pitlane , I Know the TA Cars will be here & they have only been allocated a very limited number of passes for pitlanne access

Meet bottom of M1 (TBA ) ?

There is usually pit access at Lunchtime, at all other times the security/access was quite tight at Donnington. (Although we did manage to hide the fact we had Simon with us all day last year!)

Default Nightmare day today :(

**** me how hard is it to get a few cars parked up @ a show

Called Abbie @ the " Live promotions " Office today & as i thought through various e mails , This whole show / Set up seems to be a money grabbing event

She wants me to pay up front for a club stand @ £ 30 Each for a " Show Car " & £35 Each for every passenger

Im sorry but im not forking out over £300 Just to park a few cars @ a show.

Im not to keen on going to Donnington & parking in the general car park either ( Heard lots of horror stories of pikies , nicking parts of cars , Stealing cars etc , So general parking for me is out of the question

As it stands im 99% bailing out of this now

Sorry guys i gave it my best shot , I Will be supporting @ a couple of the other rounds where the guys @ TA Sort the club parking & not some tart sat in an office

LOL Yeah mate bit much isn't it , To be fair mate they are really only interested in having everyone there for both Sat & Sun , The price above does include overnight camping & saturday evening entertainment

But not to clever for us if only attending on the Sunday

Perhaps a group email with those pictures attached should be sent to the lovely Abbie in the " Live Promotions " Office.

And a request that they should be paying US to risk bringing our cars.

All spaces in the pitlane are pre-allocated, you maybe lucky and just leave your car in there and hope - I did that last year, but there are twice as many teams this year, so they will prob be stricter.

Failing that there is a fenced off parking area for trailers/transporters/support vehicles. This area is covered by the security guard at the barrier.

Guys, the way the show organisers have behaved is poor.

But please don't lose sight of the fact that the reason for going was not the ISTS show, but to watch some of the finest modified cars in the country compete in Time Attack and Support Mike at the first round.

An awful lot of effort has gone into getting Mikes car ready for this year, including the efforts of many people on here, so please don't let the ISTS's poor attitude reflect on the real event, I know Mike would be thrilled to get as much ESC stylee support as possible.

Cheers
Neil

I would rather grab a lift mark if you have space? Petrol costs can be split too saving everyone money
