Just had an email from them (Bill) and they now have matched the colour for the RB5 so mine should be in the post soon.

Default You guys..............

have convinced me its worth the money trying to get a scratch & a chip in the bonnet sorted on my fathers car. Already received the DHL number to track the delivery so should be able to try over the coming weekend

Took delivery of my paint set yesterday and applied it straight away.

Very pleased with the results. It easily covers scratches and chips and ideal for covering the roadrash effect. The stonechips are still evident, however they are not striking to the eye as they were prior to the treatment.

Thanks to Mike Murphy who enlightened us about this product.

bonnet before

bonet after

front bumper before

front bumper after

What do you think?

done a great job there

See what a bit of patience and some dedication can do

Hopefully all the other people who have bought similar will post their pics up to show others just how well this product can work

Question Quick question ?

After applying the paint how long are you leaving it before the next stage ?
On the leaflet it says leave for 2 minutes but can be left for up to 2 hours.
Would be good to know from the people that have already done it before I start

Cheers Andy

I left mine anything from 2 minutes up to 10 minutes. One or 2 patches were left overnight and the excess paint was still easily removed the following day.

I found that I needed 3 or 4 coats to fill some chips, and had no problem only waiting a couple of minutes between each pass.

Would have taken pictures, but batteries were dead - but I do concur with everyone else that this is a great product. It dramatically reduces the appearance of stone chips with just a single application, but with more time and patience can also make them pretty much disappear.

I tried it on a long scuff mark on the front bumper, but it wasn't very good on that, and I also, out of interest, tried it on some light surface scratches that hadn't penetrated the clear coat - and it wasn't very good there either (they will polish out though, so I'm not complaining!)

I have a few more to do this weekend, time and weather permitting, so I'll try and take some pictures this time.

I just got on with it & ordered mine by chosing the most expensive post option. It tells you to do so anyway on the next page if its going overseas.

Found this site quite handy to confirm the "name" of the paint if you are unsure.

Subaru Paint Codes

how long did it actually take to arrive for you guys after initial order? im guessing mine may take longer as its a classic porsche rather than a recent model subaru. not heard anything for a few days since I paid..

Heres my attempt. Just a practice on the OSF mirror. Gave it 3 - 4 coats but could do with a few more it think. overall pleased with the results. Still got the rest of the car to do now!!!
What you think?

Looks great!! Just takes time and patience. Know what you mean - doing the rest of the car, I've done the front end and now I'm slowly going up both sides of the car!!

I've not washed or polished the car as been concentrating on other things. trying to do the whole detail thing. It's going to take ages and i don't have a PC or anything so going to do it all buy hand but it'll be worth it.
