as for using text speech when sending a CV or in business... i think you will find that the spellchecker in word is rather good.

I use the spell checker all the time, my typing is inaccurate at best and never hurts to check stuff through, thats why it is there.

Incedently there's far worse things to use that are as easily available. It's not exactly the best kept secret in the world.
I would also imagine it would do more good than harm making the good people of scoobynet that didn't know about PARACETOMOL being poisonous to cats aware of the fact.
