An Ecutek remap is £650 from JGM plus travelling costs, the group buy price here is £580 inclusive of VAT.

hi it made 280 bhp b4 remap at the scoobyclinic now ive got bigger fuel pump and headers have been swaped jgm fitted the apexi and maped it .
now it makes 279 bhp .. si i got
all this fitted and lost 1 bhp . i gained 40 lbs of tq but to behonest the car felt faster b4 the apexi / remap.

any 1 any ideas why this would be ??

as I tried to explain when I mapped it and on the phone and via text, your engine would not take timing above 5000rpm, it therefore may have lost 1bhp but is safe and not going to self distruct assuming any likely damage has not already been caused, it was also very rich before hand which may have fouled the plugs which won't have helped and offered to check it this week when I am in the area to see if it will now safely take more timing.
The 40lb torque shows the potential.. but I won't just dial timing in to gain you power if it is unsafe.

also it drives slower yet has 40lb more torque and more bhp everywhere except from 5500rpm up where it matches until peak power where it is 1bhp
