I do, but cant really afford it at the mo

Current mods are front prodrive sports cat and prodrive bb, if i change the fuel pump to a walbro and the air filter to a k&n would it be worth a remap?

Cheers.

definatly mate, i take it that you dont have the ppp package fitted on your car therefore you will only get the full advantage of the mods youve done by having your car remapped. ide say at a rough guess at least 30bhp will be gained if not more.

also this group buy is a good price

If it were June/July I would be interested. I need to buy a down and up pipe first and then re-map - can't really spare the brass until then

I really want it done too... problem is no decat downpipe and there hasnt been any crop up for ages on here!!

I assume for a 52 STI just a fuel pump and downpipe is required for the map?

Could I get away without a decat downpipe and leave the standard cat in? Fed up with the lag and nothing till 4k!

Again I'm sorting my motor out at the moment, its a MY07 STi, Afterburner Vortex BB and straight through centre section, Revolution decat downpipe and an uprated Walbro fuel pump and I'm after getting it remapped, with expected figures of around the 350bhp and 360-390lb/ft mark???

The funds are sat here smiling at me however, I am based in the North East in Yarm just outside of Middlesbrough which is no where near you guys that are on the list, is this viable for you Simon??

Drop me a PM with your thoughts when you have time.

So its going to be £580 for the work, is the normal cost of an Ecutek remap around the £650 mark from the majority of the mappers out there?

Cheers

G

I bought a 53 Reg STI (blobeye) and it's got aftermarket exhaust, downpipe, decat, uprated fuel pump and uprated panel filter.

The previous owner stated it was flashed by himself with a WR1 map. I know it's defo running a different map as it boosts to just a fraction over 1.5bar boost on my defi gauges and I think normal boost on an STI is 1.3bar?

What sort of figures should / could I be expecting with the above listed? and would a specific map be much better than the WR1 map.

I'm moving house and £550+ for 1-15bhp isn't really in my budget but if it means the car will be healthier as well it could sway me.

I'm Cambs area.
