Try it on the back of Agent 47's head, see what it says :

Probably says 'the next idiot that points an N95 at me is going to get a 9mm hole in their head'

what a wonderful and interesting place, the world of barcoding is. I have made some new friends over at http://www.thinthinthickthinthicknumberthinthick.co.uk and they are so hilarious with their annecdotes...

In the meantime, whilst I was perusing the forums and chatting to my new interweb chatbuddy, eduardo "the reader", I knocked up some of my own

Up until this thread the only codes I'd manged to scan with my N95 were on letters from the DVLA. My Tax renewal had a code with my registration number in it and one my dad received had his license number in it.

I've just put the Kaywa app on my Nokia 6300, works a treat

1st message "Greetings fellow Scoobynetters and barcode geeks ;o)"

2nd message doesn't work , just comes up "No barcode detected", although I can read the URL

We use these codes (Data Matrix) at work to mark parts for traceability before we dispatch them.
Apart from that it looks like a really bad 3d picture that requires LSD to work.
Get a W960i and it can read business cards and automatically add to contacts, far more usefull !! And yes, Im a geek too.

Why are they called barcodes? They should be called blockcodes.
