I hate praising Liverpool players but torres is atop drawer striker. His movement, pace, touch, finishing are all right up there. Yes Ronaldo is up that next level with another 2 or 3 players as the best in the world but torres is in that pack behind them. To bring Martins in as a possible comparrision is just foolish.

Who said anything about liking Obafeni? Hes a good striker but IMO certainly isnt in the same class as Torres

you cant say torres aint got pace because he has scored plenty of goals running off the last defender. he's no walcot or lennon for pace but he's got it.
lets not bring martins into it, hardly doing well at the moment, heard a rumour gooners were going to sign him, glad we didnt. ok but then again dave kitson is ok too

plus there is only one out and out striker scoring consistantly in the premiership at present
