Meeting @ Tesco's Basildon ( Mayflower retail park ) A127 London bound from 7pm
A PINK SHIRT EVENT WE LEAVE @ 8PM !!!!
DO'S & DON'TS FOR ALL POSERS
1. No doughnuts , flamefests or letting us hear how nice your exhaust sounds in Tescos car park . This is our home please don't abuse it .
2. Once on the move keep checking your mirrors & when other vehicles get stuck in the convoy please indicate & move over to lane 1 and let them filter through .
3. Once in two lanes try to keep in your lane & please indicate if you must change lane mid convoy .
4. Be ready for the "Underpass" slow down & launch ~ Ditto @ traffic lights .
5. When regrouping at the front drive all the way around the bend and DOUBLE PARK before the speed camera .
6. Pose ALL the way along the front past the Kursaal & double back @ the Thorpe Esplanade roundabout , If you wish to park up straight away without cruising the full loop , Please stay @ the back after the re group @ the Westcliff end & let the main group carry on to complete the full POSERS CRUISE
7. Get yourself a two way radio set to Channel 1 . ONLY to be used for shepherding the convoy . Use another channel if you want to play .
8. Fixed Cameras ~ Traffic Units ~ Mobile Cameras ~ You have been warned .

Coming round the M25 you want J29 onto A127 Southend bound , follow this along till you come to the Basildon/Wickford slip (A132) . Take this slip down to the bottom go right around the roundabout & double back up the other side onto A127 now London bound .
Take the next exit off A127 into Mayflower retail park. Take second exit @ roundabout & go past McDonalds on your right . Follow this down to the bottom of the road & Tescos entrance is on the left , go past petrol & continue down to far end of car park .
Leave Tescos & TURN LEFT @ FIRST EXIT LONDON BOUND A127 .
Take next slip then first exit @ roundabout , get in right hand lane & take third exit @ roundabout back onto A127 Southend bound .
Get in right hand lane & turn right @ lights then regroup when you reach the seafront. You must DOUBLE PARK before the speed camera to allow room for those @ the back .

Haven't used mine much since the Birchanger meet but it has got dusty.
So only a flick with a duster & a quick wipe round the wheels for me.
A few will be pre-meeting at the Skoda just before 7.00pm.

Oh yes i certainly did enjoy it... Not sure where the others ended up.. stuck at traffic lights..
Car probably needs a clean now tho. oh well will wait for matt to do it in a few weeks..

Well we didn't make it guys....
got just off the M23 and onto the M25 and picked up a bolt through the sidewall of the n/s/r tyre!! Instant deflation, end of story...almost.
Got the space saver and the jack out of the boot....only to find the garage hadn't replaced the wheel wrench when they serviced the car last month!!!
2 hours later when Green Flag finally arrived, we were on our way again in about 5 minutes..home this time.
Today it's cost £137 for a new potenza but at least we're back on the road...see you next time!
It'll be an interesting conversation with Gatwick Subaru tomorrow!
