got it done, took 2 hours, involves alot of driving under the bridge on meadowhall, revving at 6k on 3rd gear,

chris is a top bloke, tried to get 1.2 bar but cos i left my first cat (mot purposes) he only can get 1.1 from the original 0.9
so expect approx 30 little ponies.
so stock , 215, panel filter, and box and down/up pipe,. maybe 230? but cos i had it for over 7 years, maybe lost all that so it maybe 215? add the mapping, i think i have about 245 ponies, anyway chris say if i ever pop down that area i can get it on the rollers to see the real power,.

the driving experience.

it feels more aggressive, not too sure about the power, but it does feel much more smoother, and power seems to kick in earlier,

2 things that happened during the 6k runs,
1 saw a lorry with worn out brake pads...... (sparks were flying everytime he braked)
1, whilst i was going for it the car on my left... i think it was a fiat hatch, (twin zorst) was trying to race me... lol.. i was trying to test the car, he was going for it lol..

my tip for anyone starting their first ecutek,
get a full decat if poss,.
get a sti tmic,
consider a fuel pump.
run in Vpower.
( i only started trying it this week .. used a Qtr tank in these run-ins)

 

i was hoping for over 265 from a remap? I have the prodrive decat mid section, back box, prodrive intercooler pipes and would put a sti panel filter in.. surely if Prodrive get 265 a remap would get at least the same?

I was wondering about a Sti top mount to help things along...but wouldnt go full decat as it wouldnt pass MOT, thought about the prodrive sports cat tho?
