ESC ON TOUR Le Touquet , France

The date:- Sat 19th July

The Destination:- Le Touquet, France

The Route:- Via Eurotunnel

LE TOUQUET is approx 45mins from Calais @ a steady 60-70mph, along the A16 (E402) in the direction of Boulogne when leaving calais. You will encounter a peage (toll road) on this route, which will cost 2.5 Euros each way.

Le Touquet is a pleasant, clean resort, with boutiques, bars, etc in the town which is just across the road from the seafront. The beach has golden sands which are deep & clean, with plenty of room to play a footie match etc. there is also a modern swimming pool on the beach, with 'flumes' etc, & inside & outside pools.

There are plenty of car parking facilities all along the seafront.

We will be crossing the channel by Eurotunnel, leaving on the 07:20 train & returning on the 21:20(local time)(20:20 English time)

The crossing takes 35mins,and upon disembarkment, its easy with no hold-ups etc as all immigration, passports is done prior to getting on the train.

The toal cost is Ł59 , per vehicle.

Book your train here

, Click on the 07:20am Outward & The 21:20 return

We did this trip in 2006 , & 1 tank of fuel should easily cover the travel from Lakeside & return.....

Crikey, how come so many of you can actually remember your French classes!!! Your teachers must've been good cause they really drummed it into you!!! (Either that or they were pretty good looking which is why you bothered to go )

I had to learn German - but wouldn't be able to hold a conversation despite passing GCSE!

Have sympathy with you mate

It may be a little joke about Gail working but unless she has put specific requests months before, getting things changed especially on the lower staffed Night Shifts that she works, can be a nightmare
