Don't know about that - Mike Hukabee is an ordained Bapist minister and says polictics and faith are inseperable - having said that I suppose his surprising stance on gay rights and gun control don't make him overly popular with the Christian right.

That's why I think the women will swing it, because the for a large majority of them, upsetting their spouses would take priority over the good of the country

I don't follow your reasoning there

Obama and Clinton are only competing for the Democrat nomination, only one of them will then stand for president

To be honest the Republicans could put a trained chimp up against either of them and probably walk it. After all there is a precedent, they defeated Jimmy Carter with one

If Hillary gets in how much of the job all will be influenced by Bill?

Maybe a fresh start is needed?

Well, is he? I can't see how having a white mother and a black father automatically qualifies someone as being black any more than they could be white which both Obama and Hamilton have.

Getting back to the issue of rednecks etc, what Barack is banking on is finally motivating the black vote which generally goes AWOL when there's some voting to be done, that and mobilising the disenfranchised electorate who've suffered under the current idiot's reign.

Mind you, after 2000 I suspect they'll **** it up again - just like the UK really.

Being the father of a Mixed race child, I can tell you now, the
world sees children with a one black and one white parent as being Black.

Well I think a fair bit of Bill's job was influenced by Hillary (health care restructuring anyone?), so it's a fair trade...

He hasn't got a snowball's chance of getting the nomination though
