if its on route could be good to have a photo op up around silsden way is there not a big lake up near A59 somewhere some nice laybys with some good scenic shots too somewhere near the listening posts iirc

Glad i`m on a hill & my car`s safely tucked away in the garage whilst the rest of them are bailing out down the road!

On a serious note...There`s Chelka resevoir on the A65 inbetween Addingham & Skipton, which is nice & scenic with good scenery in the background etc for a few pics on way over from Harrogate on A59 !

Mate! If you want loud ( very deep rumble) and spot on build quality you'll love the blitz nur spec, want to have a listen to mine?

 

The Blitz is a very good (very loud!) system, never heard of anyone with a complaint about the build quality

Come to think of it, the only complaint I've ever heard is that it's a bit loud for some people's taste

It just depends on how loud you want

 

Make sure you checkout the differences between the Nur-Spece S and R Models

most people got for the R model but its up to you .... mine in the R version but then i just saw nurspec for sale and just bought it

 

yes the blitz is load jim has it on his car he wakes all the neighbours up he is called the street alarm clock

the only thing is you GET KICKED OFF ELVINGTON BEING TOO LOAD

 

but doesnt jims car have a down pipe fitted too that not standard. most blitz models go from Cat back so a little quieter if from turbo back and then you have a air filter on because you have increased air coming in the car creates more of a growl up front and then ends with a roar out back not complaining as its a good sound indeed.

Technically speaking, only the original exhaust or the Prodrive system are within the letter of the law (I believe!). And that's only if they've not been decatted. You'd be unlucky to get pulled for it, but it can happen.

Should be looking at around £300ish brand new (can't remember if that's just the back box or for the cat back though ), but used ones do pop up every now and then on the for sale section - they don't tend to be there long, generally.

You can try here Jap Performance Parts : Parts for Sale they usually have a couple in or due in. Not used them myself though, so no idea what the service is like it's just the only place off the top of my head that I remember seeing them.

I'm still in two minds about selling my car but if i do I'll have a nur spec r going, it's the full system inc downpipe and bung. Don't wait for me though cause the way things are going I'll be keeping the car, i keep telling people it's no longer available as i just can't part with it. I'll keep you posted
