roof is spot welded on, the bolts are for roof rack bracket things. SOund deadening should be at least 9kg as above, and then the felt mat is a further few kg.

To convert the car from LHD to RHD is easyish, but you don't want to swap the bulkhead. Check the pics on our project thread for some initial clues.

 

Spent an entertaining few hours yesterday trying to remove the doors, wings, bumpers etc. Got as far as the last bolt on the front bumper which is held in by 17mm bolts on the chassis rail, but on the right hand side is a small black pot and I don't know what it is, what it does, or how to remove it. It's attached to a bracket which is also attached to the chassis rail. What's the best thing to do please?

 

That I think is the Carbon canister, though I would not call it small, mine was 70mm dia and about 150 long with lots of pipes! The canister pull upwards off the bracket which itself is bolted to the side face of the OS front chassis leg right up by the Rad.

I dumped mine when I did the parallel fuel rail mod.
For Group N won't you need to keep it?
