It's never that simple though is it, I appear to be the only person on this thread who doesn't see every issue in balck & white.


My arguement is about balance and consideration, something that is a bit of a rarety on here

 

I don't think that Scoobynet is an a accurate representation of British political opnion - You can go to forums that have other interests and they will be overtly left wing - It just seems to be that Scooby drivers, in the main, are right wing .

Thankfully, the country is a little more central - Although I do fear an overcompensation to the right in Government/opposition policy

 

Its not that so much Pete Brant, its is just that we see how we have been lied to in the interests of image and not enough effective action in spite of all the grand new initiatives which are announced from time to time and how the facts are twisted and distorted in order to do something which the people do not want by any stretch of the imagination.

NL is a very different kettle of fish to Old Labour who at least wanted to do something for the good of the people unlike this lot who do not have the least interest in anything so old fashioned as that!

Clare Short's book is an interesting read in that respect. Like Martin2005, I am not tied to any particular political party-only to the one which will do the best for this country, and I have seen little to support for a long time now.

All blow and no go and never to be trusted as far as I am concerned.
