My latest mod.

Take a spare gear surround, cut a hole in it. Paint it to match the rest of my dash surround



Add Colour Coded AVC-R



Giving You





Not actually got round to fitting/wiring it all up yet though, wait for it to warm up a little I think

Hopefully it will be OK to see whilst driving, but without being too 'in your face'.

Its angled up quite nicely.

I love these type of threads, great to see what other people can do when they put their minds to it.

Looking good ...What type of paint did you use and where from please.

Mine has the parrot hands free in the ashtray, will post a pic tommorrow.

Would love a more subtle location for the Road Angel, thinking cap on

I have used Ford Graphite Grey and then some Clearcoat, BUT I have done the whole centre of the dash in my car so it matches!!

If the dash in your car is standard, then it doesn't match the OE grey.

Remember to use rub down, and use Plastic Primer if you are gonna paint plastic

Ok Gotcha, cheers. I am after replicating/copying the OE dash finish so I can match my pod to it. Thought you had done this, no probs. thanks for the response
