Since it seems I have become an American (without my knowledge), I voted for "It isn't happening", although I would have wanted to vote for "We don't even know it is happening".

Does anyone have any footage of a slightly perturbed and forlorn polar bear? Hard evidence indeed for anyone in doubt of the effects of climate change
the bear story was disproved and taken in summer eg out of context every time government put tax up on cars/fuel i just buy a bigger more polluting one

Polar bear population levels are at their highest in 30 years - mainly as a result a hunting ban; their population has climbed from 8,000 to 10,000 in 1973 to a figure that varies between 20,000 to 40,000. So, in the face of "climate change", the polar bear population has increased somewhere between 100-400%. Those groups and individuals who wish to use the Polar Bear as a "poster-boy" against their man-made global warming almost always use declining populations in very specific areas to substantiate their claims; common sense tells you that a local population decline in the face of a general population rise indicates the bears facing a local problem - not a global one.

Many species and habitats ARE threatened by man - but it is because of illegal hunting, logging and unsustainable agricultural practices - things easily proven; not claims of climate change that no-one is entirely sure if we have anything to do with or not anyhow.

FFS only 10,000 years ago you could walk to france over the arctic tundra, since then we have been coming out of the last ice age, oceans rising and temperatures slowly climbing. Global warming is real, the ba$tards have just worked out we can be taxed heavily on a natural event !!!
