KSport big brake kit group buy
The larger master cylinder is needed when the increased overall fuid capacity of the new brakes (due to larger and greater number of pistons) leads to excessive pedal travel. Our own Impreza runs 330mm front brakes and pedla travel is fine, absolutely no problems nor any need to address the master cylinder. Similarly I wouldnt automatically change the master cylinder even if running both front and rear kits as a larger cylinder means less travel between initial bite and lock up. In my experience this leads to less feel and for me and my size twelves its better than I have the slightly onger travel with standard cylinder.
Basically no, you dont need to change the m/c.
All outstanding kits are now allocated, Ill still take orders for more but theyre going to be 10 weeks. This GB is going to be knocked ont he head on Friday 7th of March so get your orders in before then.
This offer wont be repeated this year. Once youve seen the caliber of cars running the KSport kits in 2008 (as direct evidence in some of the UKs top tuners faith in the KSport braking products) youre going to want a set

Fitted mine tonight great piece of kit, one problem though the wheels catch the caliper, the ET is 48 tried a ET 45 still no joy so what damage will be done to the bearings if i fit a 3mm spacer to allow the wheels to clear the caliper! Oz wheels catch on the calipers doh!
My wheels also caught on the calipers, I tried on 3mm spacers but the wheel nut thread engaement wasnt that great so Ive bought longer studs, there shouldnt be any problems with the 3mm spacers other than balance, if this is the case Ill have to use the 5mm ones that came with the studs. If there is handling issues then its a new set of wheels for me.

Ive got standard 17in MY03 WRX wheels on at the moment and they are fine, my oz,s need more clearance as the edge of the spoke fowls the caliper! The ET is not the problem its the way the spokes are shaped!
