Thought I should drop you an e-mail – I’ve been meaning too all week, but when I open up my e-mail at work that usually means I’m entering a world of pain and emergencies so anything immediately urgent is sent to the bottom of the list of ‘things-to-do’!

Anyway, just a quick thanks to you guys in Essex as we had an excellent weekend at MENCAP made all the more fun, for me at least, by seeing those lovely Scoobs, and for everyone else for the giggle we had with you guys in the evening. I’m currently writing something for our Shire Land Rover Club mag about the antics and the quest to ‘save the bear’ for next year, so if you’ve got an address you can let me have (or would it be c/o SIDC?) I’ll send one through when they’ve been to the printers.

As for Dave – I think you’ve made his year J

Looking forward to seeing you guys again next year, hopefully this time we’ll have a few more Land Rovers… or I’ll be in a Subaru
