Because we stopped hunting witches hundreds of years ago...

We should stop send all aid to those that hate us so much. Why my hard earned tax is being sent to people who would probably want to behead me I have no idea.

Because of the weak government we have All started by that d*ckhead Blair - sent the troops into Iraq because his mate Bush (even more a di*khead) had sent the Americans in and now even though we lost god knows how many soldiers he still wouldn't withdraw them straightaway
Leave em to it in Iraq, they can kill themselves if they like!

I don't see it as being racist. I have no hatred for immigrants, I just don't want to support them financially and don't believe people of different cultures can get along. It's been proven time and again multi-culturism doesn't work in reality.

We are over populated and it is time to look after our own. We've more than made amends as a society for our imperial ambitions of old.

Anyway, back on the topic in hand. This woman has been victimised purely for being a western immigrant. She should be sent home or we as a country should demand it.

I have to agree, i'm sure that a simular outcry if "Imagrant teacher" in this country called a Teddy "GOD" . but we would see it for what it was..... someone being either VERY nieve or VERY stupid.

So I reckon withdraw all the UK people and aid agencies in Sudan and then Neuk it

How many countries can we name, that are predominantly Islamic, that we can all say we'd like to live there?

The west is overrun by Millions of economic, political, religious and persecuted immigrants, many fleeing from Islamic, Sharia and fundementalist laws and beliefs...

I certainly don't have the answer, but I sure am fed up with Islam being a two faced religion that simply can't get on with itself...

I heard a British Muslim on 5 Live tonight and the guy was exceptionally outspoken about what's gone on and was a breath of Fresh air. He even said he'd have no issues with calling a Bear Mohammed over here...

Just shows how much the religion has turned itself inside out... Its completely lost it's way and his quickly self destructing...

It really is no wonder these countries remain 3rd world... with stone age thinking coupled with stone age beliefs..

Why do people think that if someone on here expresses an opinion that's a bit extreme, they are p*ssed???

I was watching the TV news only an hour ago and I said to my wife, "Bluddy feckin bar stewards, we should get her out and then nuke the effin place! Let's show the little sh*ts we mean business". And I haven't had a drink for days.

This region - Uk & Ireland in general is becoming overcome by 'others' and all this PC bull**** means we all walk around on egg shells to scared to stand up and say enough's enough.
Basic law should be - you come here, you work, you obey our laws, you commit crime you get jail and deported.

It was nothing to do with the views or opinions of the bloke, it was his spelling.
If you can't see that, either you had a shandy too many or need to go back to school.

What happened to the teacher is a joke, someone took law/religious law and turned it on it's head. If naming a toy after a religious person is so bad, why name your kids Mohammed and so on? No one has asked the people accusing the teacher this question.

Problem is the same thing has happened in the UK. We have locked people up for inciting religious hatred (all muslims as well). No doubt if a non-muslim person started branding a group of people in a certain light he/she would be get a slap on the wrists or demand freedom of speech but this is another discussion for another day.

I am sure these not so bright goverments have looked at our actions and decided to employ their version of the same law - hence why they are now accusing the teacher of inciting religious hatred.

Someone mentioned 'others' i.e anyone who is not british born (or anyone who is not white?) should respect our laws, offer something constructive and work for their living which I agree to (way too many leechers around) but I think the same applies in any other country you happen to be in - you repsect their laws. Just a shame this whole fiasco came about, someone decided to make up the law and go on a witch hunt with the teacher.

But we should see it for what it really is, a political backlash or some backhanded gesture to get something out of the UK goverment. These kinds of gestures have been going on for ever so it's not anything new, it just happens to be waved around by the worlds no.1 enemy i.e. muslims.

The UK goverment should threaten Sudan with sanctions or cut them off politically (if they haven't already) once this whole mess is over with - that should give them something to mull over.

Freedom of speech, yeah we should all have the right but I think we should be responsible as well. Branding everyone with whatever we choose and then crying about freedom of speech doesn't help matters.

Serious question. Why does it always seem to be muslims that get so offended by the smallest things and retaliate with a worse reaction than the initial "crime"? Calls for her to be executed. Unbelievable.

That´s an excellent question. The demonstrations yesterday occurred after people had finished their evening prayers. Either it was completely spontaneous or the clerics stirred up the people to go and protest in order to escalate the situation. Religion of peace my ar$e

I fear it is the latter, which points to the believers being nothing more than brainless robots. We knew this already of course...

I cant be arsed with the White Power thing, its crap, I happen to be white because my parents were, I am not proud to be white, it just happened. Dont post stuff like that, it gives people the wrong idea.

There are plenty of evil white people and there are plenty of decent people of other colours, take people as you find them or turn into some Redneck nutcase.

That said, we need to control immigration, the UK is like a life boat for the worlds waifs and strays, a lifeboat that is starting to sink due to the weight of numbers, look after and control better those that are already here and now close the gates to all but the most desperate cases or people who can contribute more than they take from society.

Different countries, different cultures.

Your right about the clerics, they are 99% of the problem at the moment. The majority of the people congregating during the friday prayer are usually working class, sometimes illiterate so they rely on the clerics to provide them with sound information and guidance which they are not getting.

Most of these clerics become emotional and vent their own anger and frustration. It only takes one person in a crowd to chant something and everyone starts to do the same, fanning the flames.

The earlier comment about Islam self-destructing is a good observation.......I don't know if that is actualy the case, but I do think that the extremist followers are having more to say then the more peaceful (Islam is supposed to be a peace-loving religion) ones. I guess it has lost its way somewhat.

I know a few muslim people and they are spot on. They were abhorred by acts such as 911 and the London bombings and they had plenty of sympathy for other cultures and religions affected by the events.

It all boils down to what we "civilised" people deem to be acceptable. We are generally a peace-loving bunch and we are certainly quite passive in our beliefs. We tend to get all up tight about events like teachers going to jail for being involved in the naming of a teddy bear, but we don't realy do much else about it.

That's the difference between us and "them".........we get up tight, they take to the streets with their petrol, guns, flags, effigies, etc, etc and scream blue murder.........civilised?....I think not.

And..while we are on the subject......why have the moderators/owners, etc of Scoobynet taken it upon themselves to delete any thread that starts to get a bit non-PC? How long before this one is deleted?? Surely we all have the right to type/say what we want, so long as we aren't launching direct attacks on people, races, cultures, etc??

I'm a bit sick of having to avoid typing what I'm thinking for fear of infraction and ban......I like it here!!

I added to a good thread a few days ago and all of a sudden, there it was gone......I didn't even think it was that bad. FFS PS Lewis and Audilover have had more stick than any Muslim, Islamic, coloured (or otherwise) nation ever, but they haven't bombed anyone......................yet.

Why are so many Muslim's called Mohammed?

Hope the teacher gets a hero's welcome when she returns home

In reality I expect we send Sudan lots of money in AID and what do we get in return, death threats.
