scooby-wrx: have already tested a used tps before and have check my tps resistance signal and its normal factory spec still so no problem with my standard tps

 

I think the idle adjustment on 99-00 is the same as my P1 and needs a Select Monitor at a dealer or a Tuner if the car has had a remap.

How to set the idle the correct way using a select monitor.

If you can get your hands on a select monitor, this is how subaru garages adjust the idle.

press and hold S & the down arrow for 4-5 seconds, this enables you to enter special functions!

then enter the following codes 0E93 to allow you to increase the idle in 100prm increments and 0E94 to allow you to increase the idle for when the air con is on again in 100rpm increments.
