I didnt think these days that addresses were the reason for failure...Unless you have only been there a wee while.
I understand some stores have a specific demographic they want to riddle with debt...
Take a credit score range of 1-300... 1 being brilliant, 300 being a real life shameless character.
Debenhams / Burton / Dorothy Perkins want people who are in their typical demographic to have their cards and spend more than they can afford to pay back, so they may set there acceptance criteria at 150-300... Now PSL who earns millions of pounds a year building nukes for the crown and paying all his bills on time probably has a credit score of 0.7 - hence 'auto decline'
They know all you're going to do is get your 10% discount and never use it again...

That's my take on it matey... It just means you're too good to shop there

I was refused a loan once...based on having no track record I think ie no other loans,no credit cards,storecards,no overdraft,no nothing.Long time ago though

Just felt like I was penalised for being good with money and not being a credit card junkie.
