And don't even try to convince us that your boyfriend wasn't in on the thieving Ebay gig. If it were me you ripped off - after getting the money back, I'd tell your parents, tell your Scientology buddies and then turn you in to the police and have you charged.

But maybe I'm a bit spiteful that way.

Well if she refunded you and then you went to the police then im sorry but your just a jobsworth, im sure this thread is punishment enough and she has refunded the money, now if the tables were turned on me, id accept the refund and ask for a few more pics

 

I'm glad Chris' e-cheque cleared. Hope the other check clears on the 12th and that no other folks were scammed so she could come up with the money to pay ya'll back. This reminds me of the Judge in the States who made shoplifters wear a sandwich-board sign outside the store they robbed stating that they were a thief and shoplifted from the store as a punishment option (choose either 12 hours outside store or 3 weeks in jail). Nothing personal Hightee, just their way of protecting other eBayers (I suggest another line of work as "criminal mastermind" doesn't seem to be your forte). I commend you on your public apology and hope you decide to live the rest of your life with dignity and respect for other people.

Sad fact is perhaps she refunded the members on here from money she has scammed from other people ? We dont know how many other Ebay accounts she has, or who has lost money to her and how much.

 

I can't believe that 2 guys were talking about this in my local pub yesterday Its certainly had a lot of coverage

It seems that she's only sorry that she got caught and not for what she's done!
Can the Detectives on here not trace her other Ebay accounts and contact the other people that have been ripped off for their refunds?

OMGGG,some of you really would send out the lynching mob on her.im not condoning what she has done..but non of us are perfect,and we have all done wrong at times in our lives,and some of us learn from it,and other's dont.but i know what you are getting at,and yes you are right.the only reason she did refund was because she got caught out big style.but some people have to go through these things in order for them to change and learn..maybe she will change from this experience,or maybe she wont.but all i can say is,that Hightee i hope u have learned from this,because you dont look or seem like the type of girl that would last long in prison.thats where your gonna end up if carry on doing these things.and before you realise it,prison becomes a way of life.some people commit crime just so they can go back to prison,because its the only life they know..do you really want that for yourself..so if you have learnt,then this can be a good start for you now..this thread started out as something serious,and then turned into a bit of a laugh and a joke..lets not strangle it to death people..the term flogging a dead horse comes to mind..

I have contacted the person that got ripped off with the Laptop, username was 'Covonia' , I think. I don't know whether they got a refund, or whether they are taking the info to the Gestapo

I think you're now showing that you're having guts. Not many people are willing to admit they make mistakes and only a very small percentage of them dare to admit this in public.

I hope these guys also have guts and dare to admit they were wrong by dragging in people that got nothing to do with it.

i agree, the thread should not be locked, as it will die down eventually anyway, + the thread serves as an example to would be scammers, that it will not be tolerated .

 

I think it should be locked providing ms hufflepuff supplies us with some new d pictures.

I'm all for more pics of her, but i'm guessing there are a lot more people out there that Hightee has scammed. My hunch is this wasn't her first time stealing. I don't agree that "being embarassed on the internet" is anything remotely worth the punishment she should have received for stealing significant amounts of money from a number of people at Christmas time.
