Way way more effective than - if you commit a crime we will give you an asbo.

Let the victim decide the punishment.... if you don't understand this, then you have never had someone break into your house and steal the keys of your pride and joy to go 'joyriding' and then torch it
I think there is a huge difference between house breaking and chancing your arm by defrauding people on an internet based site, not defending her at all, but if I were the victim of crime I'd rather it was over the net rather than someone robbing my house/car, that's too close for comfort!

All I said was she should pay for her crime, not phisically though. Someone said on the guest book she shoul be raped and murdered, that is totally out of order IMHO

If they want to rape and murder then they should be aware that they will be shot though.

There is no difference between shoplifting a mars bar, stealing a couple of hundred quid or cutting someones arms and legs off. I have no religion, but I live my life and run my business from one simple concept.... probably stolen from the bible. "Do to others what you would have them do to you" (Or did the bible steal that from decent people?)

If you go through life using that concept as your decision maker, then I don't think you will make too many enemies. If you go through life stealing from people, then you are likely to make serious enemies, and there is every possibility that one of them will have a lesser set of morals than you do. This is basically what is happening to Hightee, but she choose the path of no morals, so she should go down that path until is natural end. If she had followed the basic concept of do to others, then she wouldn't be involved with the weirdos that are now calling for her rape and murder

when is someone that 'can' do something about this, actually gonna intervene in someway here?? I cannot be the only regular user (even if i dont post much) that thinks this has gone past being fair, past being payback even, and now is just outright bullying

she's a kid ffs!! She messed up, she saw an opportunity to make some easy money and made a mistake. How many listings are on ebay right now that are far from legitimate? There's motorbikes and cars on there all the time that are such blatant scams, nobody even takes notice of them anymore so why are the vigilante brigade bringing them to justice too?? Because it's not as easy as this was, she was naive and stupid and provided the money gets paid back NONE of you should have any issue with her, so why carry it on?

if you wanna right the wrongs of the ebay world then go ahead, and sure... this one was in need of righting, but it's DONE now... let it go and find a bigger fish, cos it's getting sickening watching you lot continue to poke the same catch all the time.

She came here and apollogised, which took some nerve after what she's done and all the comments that have been said about her, and yet you still continue to ridicule her. I hope you're all as perfect as you make out, cos if not, one day someone is justified in comming down on you like a ton of bricks

As I understand she paid you back, the money was already paid from her side and was taken from her account, so she really wants to put things straight again.

Personally knowing her parents, sister and herself as well, I am soooo sure she would even be willing to ask you the question: "what other damages do you think have been done to you?" and she would even be willing to make up for that as well.

I know what she did was wrong, she admits it herself too. She wants to put it straight as well.

I know that people like to create an effect. The bigger the effect the more they like it. But is this really the effect you want to create? To destroys someones life that makes a mistake, puts it straight and want's to make up for damages as well. Wish that all those who make mistakes had such an attitude of making efforts to put things straight.

But then I also ask myself: "when are you guys going to put straight?"

It's too easy to justify your acts by telling she first did something wrong.

Will you have the guts to admit your mistakes of putting this out on the web?

Let me see in the next coming weeks how much guts you guys really have.

Let me see whether you guys really have the guts to take resposibility or whether you guys will only come up with simple and complex justifications for your deeds.

A friend sent me this interesting link:

from BBC - h2g2 - Scientology

"Major criticisms of the Church include accusations of cult-like activities (such as so-called 'brainwashing'), abuse of members and harsh punishments for dissent. Critics of Scientology (or errant members of the Church) in the 1960s ran the risk of being declared 'Suppressive Persons'; the Church advised in 1968 that such people were to be dealt with by a concept that Hubbard referred to as 'Fair Game':
...may be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologists. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed.
Fair Game was officially abolished only a month after its inception due to criticism from within the Church; however, Scientologists have later testified that the practice continued at least into the 1980s."

Major Beliefs of the Church

Established in 1954 to further develop the spiritual implications that were implicit in Dianetics, the Church of Scientology has a very hierarchical structure of belief. As a Scientologist undergoes more courses and studies, he or she is taught more and more about the religious beliefs underpinning the Church. After becoming Clear there are a number of well-described 'levels' of membership known as Operating Thetan (OT) levels, which can be scaled by participating in various Scientology-approved courses (which again cost time and significant amounts of money).

Briefly, the OT levels concentrate on the individual's inner self (or 'thetan') and its relationship to their past lives. One of the major revelations that purportedly will irreparably damage the unprepared mind is level OT III (or 'The Wall of Fire'). It concerns a cataclysmic event 76 billion years ago involving a galactic overlord named Xenu who murdered the population of the galaxy by coaxing them to Earth, imprisoning them in volcanoes and blowing them up with hydrogen bombs. The spirits of these murdered people (known as 'body thetans') attach themselves to modern-day humanity and cause most of human suffering. Once at OT III, a Scientologist will be guided through the removal of these body thetans and consequently will continue to rise up the ranks - levels up to OT XV are mentioned in Scientology literature, but the last few levels are classed as 'not yet released'.

I do think that good will come of this though,.... many scammers would have read the thread and it would now most likely make them think twice,...

I will now work hard when I have spare time to help as many victims as I can on The Scam Busters

Huh, justice has been done? Well it was not OK what she did, that's correct. I see that she solved the situation and in fact returned you the money quite fast, you only had to wait for the clearance all the time.

But justice....

First solve your **** now before I go on your site and buy something from you.

You have been harrasing her, harrasing and sexually intimidation people on a grand scale with hundreds of thousands of visitors reading your **** that have nothing to do with it and so on....

before I would ever visit your site and buy something from you I first would like to see you have the guts to solve your situation as well.

Did you already send apologies to her friends?
