I need to let Norfolkline know asap who's attending for the ferry places. Unfortunately, Norfolkline will not refund the fares for these crossings.
If your name is below and you are now wanting to go, let me know asap. If I have not heard anything by Sunday 20th, I'll be cancelling the ferry places for the following.

Scott
Stu
James and Steve
Ronnie

Everything else is pretty much sorted, other than finding a base for Tuesday and Wednesday and booking a cheap hotel

On the subject of Tues / Weds...

Stelvio is 99% guaranteed to be closed, but there is a bloody good alternative available that will be open. It's a little further than we perhaps planned on going, but was actually included in the first set of routes I planned. I think it'd be well worth the extra miles, and we could plan the hotels to fit in with it. (Already have a route if needed)

Thoughts?

Not really, as all the best passes are still closed. I'm sure that the situation will change somewhat over the next few weeks, but we're in a bit of a catch22 situation, as we need to ensure we have somewhere to kip for the night, which means having a rough idea of where we're going.

I could leave the route planning until the weekend before to take advantage of all the open passes, but then we may end up kipping in the cars. It's unlikely, but a possibility. I'd much rather ensure we have rooms for the night, even if it means more driving through the day.

How can you say that? After all this time? Never once said anything nasty and there you go accusing me..plain and simple of arguing... Upset I am...

Look.. even my Grammar's gone South... you tell me it's North and I'll have ya...

I'll be taking £2k (Assuming the ******* customers pay me in time)

Probably split 75/25 euro/chFr

If I don't get paid I'll be using your card too.

...and Al's

...and Andy's

...and Kellog's

Got a quote from the AA today................. I'm alcoholic.... Oh well. Stelvios next week so I can start rehab after that.....

The OTHER AA quoted me £40 for the weeks Euro cover with a like by like Hire car swap (yeah right in France / Swiss But I think an M3 is pretty close ) if the car breaks down... car gets shipped back and you carry on with the drive.... sweet..

Med cover 11.99 for me and Sean.... sweet again.. Just need a Triangle and a med kit.. got some bulbs...Oh and a tooth brush... that's me sorted.

We ALL need a hi-vis vest for every occupant.

Could do with a proper official list of Required, Optional and Desireable items(Can I put Kiera Knightley on the last one? )

Hi-vis vest

Optional

Travel Insurance (Not worth NOT having)

Desireable

Copy / amend / paste as you see fit

As far as I'm aware the plan is to leave on Friday at 7:00pm. Shall we say Cedar Court?

Halfrauds says blub kit (as Sticky calls them ) are optional in France/Switzerland and Italy but probably better to have for the cost

Cameras are a must too..and lappy.

I'm taking a 17" full size spare, saves driving too slow if one has a flat.

Anyone got headlight deflectors yet ? Suppose Halfrauds.

Intellistart starts engine but you have to have key in ignition to drive
