Right guys this is where I am with this.
As some of you know I have a medical problem that requires surgery to rectify, nothing life threatening fortunatley, but none the less serious.
I am currently awaiting my first consultation with the specialist not actually booked until March, the the operation obviously will be sometime after that, the way things are progressing at the moment though may put my operation and convelesence right on our abouts the journey time.
I can nil afford to loose money on this by pre booking, in fact I would be silly to given my position.
As you can work out, this is going to be difficult to pull off if my operation comes in early and I recover quickly job done, other than then trying to play catch up on hotels and ferries, albeit I can sort these out closer to the time, even if it means me trying to catch you lot up along the way.
got work to do will fill the rest out in a bit

Forum updated with loads of links to hotels
I've emailed all of them, and will keep updating the post over the next few days with prices etc
Priority now is to sort a date out to take the money so we can book the hotels

You'll not be forgotten, don't worry

Above date should be fine for me.
...well. It's black, and just looks 'normal' in a Volvo kinda way. Much prefer them in white 'cos you can see the aggressiveness(?) of the front end. Got loads of pics, which I'll post soon. But... the place is a nice little import emporium, and I have fallen in love with some of their other stock. Mainly a (I kid you not) 800bhp Evo8, but it's WAAAY over budget at 44k. one other thing caught my eye though, and negotiations may be taking place in the very near future

Hi Al
bit of a low profile lately, major house renovation going on at the moment so no time, have just finished knocking 2 rooms into 1 and new kitchen etc.
Did all the wiring, plumbing and fitting the kitchen myself ,just left the worktop for the pros and it takes me a bit longer than normal ( as you would expect ).
Got to knock a window out to put Bi folding doors in now ,But the Still saw keeps getting away from me
Will try to make the mid month run if poss
Cheers

Forum updated, thread is up for the meet on Wednesday 12th.
Also, I've posted another one with a list of who's going. I know circumstances change, and work issues etc may now prevent people from going, so . . .
Can people check the forum and confirm if they are still up for the trip - Cheers
