As Mark (Flat Eric) has already pointed out , there were only 20 cars there on Saturday evening, and we agreed before we left to only use one lane, we were also travelling alot faster then usual due to the smaller numbers, I don't think we went below 55 apart from when we were being held up by other road users, so I only have one thing to say.....

Perhaps time to rethink this portion of the event.
This portion was rethought and the usual speed increased a few months back.

Hence my thinking that this is a wind up. And definately on Saturday seeing as we were single file till just before Rayleigh underpass where I then pulled alongside Mark (FE) for a brief launch. and then we arrived at the 40mph section of the A127.

If this is not a wind up, then I humbly appologise, as it was I that decided that we should take over both lanes.

Hi Clive,

Congratulations On your EmergencySpecial Child

I was at that meet and was very near the back of only about 20 odd cars, as we left and joined the 127 we had to give it some to catch up with the leaders and I don't as a rule drive slow
We traveled only down to the lights at progress Road and at no time did I travel at under about 50 mph, and between Basildon and Where you should have turned of for southend Hospital their is only one Lay-by and that's just past the underpass and we wouldn't been going that slow just then I think

So I'm going for the wind up

Nice one Clive.

Clive if the baby was coming that quickly surely you would have been better to call an ambulance and stay put with the hot water and towel's.
Then if need be she would have been taken in by ambulance with blue flashing light's and everybody would have moved out of the way.
Nevertheless I'm with the other's it's a wind up

I just don't understand why someone would want to wind us up in this way, am I being too naive?

Interesting that Clive hasn't been back to see what comments have been made but perhaps thats because he's busy with a crying baby and smelly nappies.

It's not so bad if it was confined to just one lane but to occupy both is madness and it is was only a matter of time before something like this happened.

Perhaps time to rethink this portion of the event.

People can call my a hypocrite if they want but I don't do meets any more so feel able to make a comment.

For someone to give birth in a layby because of the event is an absolute crime and we should all be ashamed of ourselves for being selfish and arogant enough to allow something like this to happen.

Obviousely my best wishes are extended to clive and his new family as well as apologies for having to endure what must have been a traumatic event.
Im not behind a false ID and i think your a complete male genital and talk alot of what hangs from them, and i dont even know you personaly. So run along and get your own life TOODLE PIP.

Exactly you don't know me personally at all. As I don't know you I refrain from making judgements such as you have ... and will continue to conduct my life in this way.

Perhaps you might meet me one day at a future event and after a conversation feel that i'm an even bigger "male genital" than you think already. But at least then your judgement will be based upon actual fact rather than speculation.

Thing about you Ed is that you know absolutely nothing about my life now so can make sweeping statements like this until you are blue in the face, and I just sit here laughing at you. And in five years time I'll be laughing even harder.

I should actually thank you and supercue for making things very personal all those years ago because you've done me a big favour.

Glad to see you've kept your sense of humour after all this time

Not a hint of denial though, but then again you're never wrong

Keep smiling

I'm a very happy person right now mate and nobody could possibly change that with posts on a subaru forum.

Nice to see your doing something constructive on your day off though.

These lot have been bitching for year's and they say women are bad.
Seemingly Gangsta is very opinionated and other's take exception to him.
Although if I was that disliked and abused every time i came on the forum i wouldn't bother but he still does so he must like it.On saying that he does give it out aswell

In Short 3yrs ago at a H/H Meet:

Gangsta decided to mouth off as usual saying nobody could wind him up and so the Gangstabaiters were spawned and every time he spoke a load of cods on any forum he was rediculed by a group of individuals from the ESC but in most by a 14yr old little girl namely my daughter and I.
The others involved did not come forward and declare themselves. Despite being told repeatedly that Adidas was not involved Gangsta continued to mouth off and accuse him of being involved but Gangsta refused to accept this fact.

I know all of the people involved and Adidas was NOT (Gangsta please take note) I repeat not involved at all.

Mostly Gangsta is known for being delusional, sycophantic and at best inventive. Take the new shape STi thread as an example. He gives us so much joy when he talks out of his rear (which is quite often) but as many people are put on this planet to cheer others up and Gangsta does this admirably who could deny this boy sorry man some keyboard space?

Hope this helps

Seeing as this subject has been brought up and to complete my reasons for the hate I had at the time towards those that 'baited; me my father had (at the time) been given 6 months to live after being diagnosed with cancer (something which, thank god, has now been cured) and one of these 'people' decided to bring him into a post. Whether they knew this or not is irrelevant. what was said was hurtfull and came at a time when I was starting to try and contemplate life without a someone that has been a massive influence on me.

Perhaps if anyone has been in this position they will be able to somewhat sympathise with me as to why I feel slightly aggrieved by some.

Rob,

I dont know you, i have never met you. You have never upset me and so in turn i have no reason to judge and say otherwise.

In turn i will also say i think this thread is a total wind up, waste of time, whatever. Im sure if i was behind someone and was in THAT much of an emergency to get through... horns would be sounded, lights would be flashed, police would be called etc.

I normaly ignore you as i will do again from now on but i read what you had to say and lowered myself to respond .
I rather, like yourself tend to get to know someone before passing comment but i have to say every time i read your comments on any subject its always putting the ESC down and the people associated with it . Which begs the question as to why you come to any events or come to the club forum.
