2000 V 5dr Green
At a risk of pushing the just efforts of Mr Lewis of the top of the forum , I've got my car sold hopefully so am reveling in my last night of Subaru ownership (perhaps not for ever , I never say never)Thanks to all those who contributed so far
Thanks Robs nice to know my work is apreciated .
The car went this morning to an american gent called Jimmy after a hectic morning when I realised that my tool roll had gone missing (since I had a new bumper fitted in the summer when a joy rider used my wife as a brake ). not just the basic tools though, it also included the locking wheel nut adapter ..... went to the repairer (12 miles) who knew nothing but said he could remove the locks without damaging the wheels , so I dashed to Halfords (after borrowing some money from a friend cus I forgot mine )bought some new ones and took the car back for surgery , then literaly Ran back to argos to buy some cheap tools.
The repairer did a good job and claimed to have found my tools under the jack (without the wheel nut adapter !!!!!) when I sugested that the half repaired Legacy round the back was now lacking tools , he quickly turned around and said nothing as he walked away ........
I got a phone call from Jimmy asking me to wait as he was running late ...No problem I said... I got home and had the car half washed (in the rain) when he arrived .
Jimmy was delighted to take the car for £13250 in the end . and I was happy with that even though I had been promissed £13300 after the weekend by another chap.
So there we have it, in the spring we have a top of the range 307HDI 110bhp coming to collect in Amsterdam which will cost us around 13K all in
topic now officialy Closed gents its been fun

Im afraid Farming is now on it's proverbial knees so my Subaru is now officialy for sale , and whatever I get for it will be invested in the best Diesel I can muster . Luckily they are now just about ok so here goes .....
All usual bits plus Air-con , Quick-shift , Green Mica , Sony CD, Floor mats .
Never been on a race track, FSSH (TNS Downham Market) using 10w/60 Castrol RS from 1000 miles . Now done 28000 miles most by my wife going briskly to work , washed by hand weekly and garaged ,a few touched in stone chips but othrwise in excellent condition , with no wheel damage etc . I'm asking £14250 on the Autotrader website http://www.autotrader.co.uk/ . but may dip into 13's if you force me !!!!! #
Thought I'd better modify this end and say the price has gone down to £13750 o.n.o
find a picture at
STOP THE PRESS new price £13600
