I'm not sure if I should be wearing a flame suit before posting on here ...... anyway flame suit on complete with NYSOC logo .....
I think I'm right in saying that Claire is only speaking on behalf of the "NBO sub-group" which was made up of people who volunteered their services at the January meet. As always the written word is always in the hands of the person reading and can be taken the wrong way. I'm fairly certain that Claire wasn't trying to dictate to club members regarding the wearing of club t-shirts. From what I understand the idea is to make club members easily identifiable on the NBO stand.
That said, I do think alternative options should be made available as regards the t-shirt options. Personally I wouldn't normally consider buying a polo shirt for myself with or without a club logo. Hence why I wanted to have a look at the catalogue
If the issue is more than just the "t-shirt thing" then come on guys keep it off the board...go for a pint ..have a slanging match ...handbags at dawn...you get the idea... Just keep it off the forum cos it makes it hard for those of us that really aren't involved in it (me for one)

Nice post Lesley... Thank you
Yes it is so that the members are identifiable......
There are options of a t-shirt, a fleece (remembering it will be June) or a strappy top... people are free to choose... but it would be a great shame for anybody to purposely damage all the hard work gone into this

Sorry but keep what off the forum..?? If anyone wants to say anything about any post or thread. then they should thats why we have scoobynet. It seems to me that any posts that are questioned some of you get on your high horse........ I know we have events and stands alike But this club is about subarus. and performance cars and like minded people... its getting that if you do say anything wrong it either gets removed or a link goes up or the thread gets closed.... So i'm going out to get my hair and nails done and i might treat myself to a new pink handbag......
