Nope, not sold yet. Just 1 phone call from a total chancer who saw it on pistonheads. Depressing....

Perhaps i should have lied!.....

Forgot to add in the original description, it had a new engine fitted at 30,000 miles.

it will be taxed for 6 months this week, and if its not sold in a couple of weeks, its either going on e-bay or being broken for spares. Wheels with tyres and the interior have to be worth 2 grand!!

Don't lose heart, it's just tough selling cars these days full stop. Be thankful you're not selling a Vauxhall etc as that would never sell!

WTF! Get yourself over to A Plan or Keith Michaels (see insurance forum) next year or with next Scoob. I have a JDM Spec C + mods (MY05) & pay less than half your bill. I'm a tad younger than you too

I know i've been well and truly seen off by the insurance company. If its still here next week, I'll be making a few enquiries as its due for renewal.

When we bought the second car for the girlfriend, and she sorted out her own insurance, they wanted EVEN MORE money to take her off it!!!!

Not mentioning any names but FFS, stay well away from a company advertised by Joanna Lumley.

Well Raymie, just how much money have you got???

Price is of course negotiable, watch out for it on flea-bay in 2 weeks. There are another 3 yellow ones for sale on pistonheads at the moment, check out their prices....

Ladsarmy, No sorry mate i wouldn't want a part exchange with anything that valuable.

I actually like those as well, but i'm not looking for another car at all really. As i said this, car is in the way at home, stuck in front of my house and i've got 250m2 of block paving about to be laid!

Cant realy sell my Scoob and have an Evo sitting in its place!!

OK, no interest, hmphh.

It hasnt gone without notice on my part, that there have been over 1000 views!!

The price is now obviously dropping fast due to the fact that we are currently in a "buyers market". Due to the fact that my girlfriend has noticed that this weekend is a half price listing weekend on flea-bay, thats where it will be appearing over the next few days.

I'd much prefer that someone off here bought it as we are all enthuiasts, and having owned it for three years I've got more than a liking for it. Dont want to see it completely wasted.

Price dropped to £6,250

Buyers market mate. There are currently over 900 Subaru's on pistonheads, a shocking statistic. More Subarus than any other make!!! Insurance factor i think.

A couple of chancers have offered £4,500, who've seen it on e-bay, but to be honest i'd sooner burn it than let it go that cheap.

On the other hand, looks like i'll continue to be a 'ballistic banana' owner!!!

Shaun.
