Sorry that i have not been able to nudge matt enough to get these sorted guys (girls), I text him on tuesday i believe and he replied saying he would be on ASAP to try to clear things up.. As Tiny said he will contact him today i will leave it for today (will be seeing tiny tonight) so will clarify if he did, hopefully this will be sorted ASAP now as it is beyond now...

all lances that i was paid direct for have been sent out. cheques that were sent to me were forward to autobrite. i will contact them to make sure they received them.

if the lances have not been received by the end of the week please let me know via paypal, and i will arrange for a claim to be made with royal mail and return your money to you.

But Matt, werent you supposed to have checked with Autobrite a while ago now? Its doesnt take 6 weeks for a cheque to clear matey

Bloody heck im sure one of those cheques would be mine even though I was one of the first to send a cheque.

I would just love to know how Matt works out who to send a foam lance to and who not to as I have a fellow Yorkshireman who received his a while back now but I still havent received mine.

 

Maybe its time to cancel the cheque and order direct?

 

But im sure money have gone out of my account already likewise would need a refund.

Something not right here...whether the cheques were sent on to Autobrite or not, and whether they were cashed or not, surely Matt knows whether the lances were delivered to him or not?

I assume not so what's all this drivel about PayPal claims and refunds? Either he has the lances or not.

 

On that bombshell am I not right in saying that Matt told us he has received "all the lances". Also am I not right in saying that someone from Autobrite told a member on here that Matt has all the lances and needs to send them out now.

My net is acting really slow so I cant search through the thread but if someone can please confirm.

As much as im annoyd that above post makes me laugh for some reason. Also my cheque was to Matt not Autobrite so i dont know why he would forward mine to Autobrite. Then again I am going by assumptions so need clarification.

Also another thing, its not like there was 100s of people in this GB that he cannot get in touch with each member individually and let them know what the crack is. He could have saved himself the bad rep if he had done this in the first place.

Matt did have all the lances posted to him when we said,however he said to me that 2 cheques were on the way to me but we posted all the lances regardless..Those cheques have never reached us!!!So as it stands he had all the lances and im still 2 payments down!! So MATT please contact me ASAP to resolve this matter please??

I find its tight to and and remove the lance from the karcher gun... I thought it might settle but if anything its getting harder to do... any quick fixes ??

So our man at Autobrite has been done over too lol.

Can I ask who else has not recieved their lances yet?

 

Have just spoken to Mark from AB, great chap.

Now basically what I gather is that Matt told him at the time that two members were going to send cheques out to AB directly which Mark from AB never received. Matt later said he would get the cheques and forward them to Mark but this never happened.

Now the situation is that not only are some of the members still without their lances but a good handful of members have been let down even though most of them have received their lances now. Also a person who trusted us and offered a great price on these lances has been let down, how bad do we as a community look now since the poor man himself i.e. Mark from AB is also out of money as he has not been paid for two lances which were posted out roughly two months ago according to him.

This seriously needs sorting out guys, we need to raise this issue with Webby also I think.

 

Agreed. Notwithstanding my alcohol-induced and misguided attempts to infract Matt, I think involving the ScoobyNet Management is pretty much all we can do.

Whether they can actually do anything is another matter, especially given the GB rules: Was your cheque ever cashed, Kilo_4que? My hunch is that the cheques were never cashed and never posted, in which case the best thing is probably to stop the cheques, and strike a deal with Autobrite direct. This will leave Autobrite to sort the return of the unpaid lances to them with Matt directly and/or to send the boys round

 

This is the problem with mine lol, I have just in the process of switching banks between NatWest and HSBC so need all that to clear. Likewise would have been good if he had given some input as I sent the cheque to him on 1st of October and occording to my cheque book in his name

 

I didn't get my lance from either company, but I think they are the same.

My fitting was very tight too, so I drilled out the hole with the next size up drill bit (sorry can't remember what size it was) and that cured it, but watch out for any swarf getting stuck down the japs-eye.

Sorry to see the group buyers get shafted, hopefully it'll all turn out good for those involved.

still waiting ov mine i paid via cheque maid payable to autobrite if i remember right going to give it till friday then cancel the cheque and try to go direct

 

I had a large parcel delivered on Monday but nobody was in, so postie took it back. Going to be working from home tomorrow so off to collect it, fingers crossed it is the lance.

 

I'm not sure what Webby can do. If he gets banned, we have no way of contacting him easily (although it's hardly easy at the moment anyway!).

Good luck for those that haven't got them yet. Maybe it's time for a personal visit (not threatening, just to either get your money back or collect your lance).

 

Lol A trip to Essex for me will probably cost me more than what the lance is worth in the first place lol
