Hi all,
Ok, here we go, I have spoke to a supplier today who is more than happy to devote his spare time to get this design into production. They will be available as
1: Vinyl cut graphic in White or Black( other colours depending on demand) without the flag.
2: Clear background in White or Black as a sticker with flag.
3: Clear background as above but for inside glass.
He is also happy to produce a number free of charge which I think is very decent of him.
Production costs would be as follows: Vinyl cut £1.00, Sticker 0.45p and the inside window approx 0.75p that is based on ordering in batches of 100
As for final cost ie: to buy, I think we need to decide on prices as a club, but I think £7.00 for vinyl, £3.50 for sticker (same as SIDC) and £6.00 for window type is reasonable, please let me know if you think that is too much.
Now the hard bit, as you will all be aware the demand for these is going to be immense, so how do we get them out to the individual . I think if we split it down into geographical areas ie: N of Scotland, S of Scotand, the North West etc with someone that is willing to devote alot of spare time in each area and willing to collect the monies then forward at a later date to SN it would work, I am willing to look after the N of Scotland maybe even whole of Scotland, again tell me/us what you think.
As a Club we can do this and hopefully raise alot of money for charity in memory of a legend, Colin McRae.

without sounding a PITA, can I enquire why only a small percentage of the costs are going to colin's chosen charity, when there are other offers on the table of which there seems to be a larger cut for charity/donation.
dont get me wrong, I am not having a go or questioning your choice of suppliers, I just think this has been rushed and needs to be sorted before anything else is done.

would it be possible, when we have a supplier sorted, to have a sticky thread (rather than loads of "unnoffical" threads floating about, so that everyone may know where to go in respects ordering/paying for a sticker/graphic to commemorate colins passing.
something in general with some basic details on who to send payment too and who to tell what you would like. its just i for one am getting a little confised, as reading on here, it seems a few suppliers are being considered, and nobody has taken real control of the situation.
could a mod or even webby be put in some sort of control (not dissing your efforts by the way swiss and others), thus keeping it as simple as possible, so it doesnt indeed turn into a circus, and we remember the real reason these graphics/stickers are being produced in the first place
