I was reading about this car in Jap Performance this morning (whilst I should have been working.) Been there and done it with an RS Turbo but I thought Scoobs were more bomb proof.

 

Just seen it m8, had a quick nosey on his fb, any ideas who it belongs to?

As fas as i aware there was only 4 here in the UK in red, that makes 5

 

I'm not sure mate but i'll try and find out

 

that was only half the story in there aswell,,,,everything that could of went wrong did did go wrong ,,from me not behaving when running it in to a turbo blowing and taking the engine with it ,,,but i got there in the end

 

How did the car compare with a 6 speed after having a 5 speed? The short gears have so far put me off an Evo 5 RS and STI. With the 5 speed I can happily cruise behind fast cars at 30-40mph and when they finally launch I still have 25-35 mph before I have to hit 3rd. You couldn't really do that in an STI, it would be screaming in 2nd and laggy in 3rd.

well iv got a 6 speed in the blue wrx,,,,,and iv got a 5 speed in the black sti (for sale) and iv got to say the 5 speed is alot easyer to drive around the streets but i had to put the 6 speed in the wrx due to the power

 

Yeah, bought it of Kev Wilson and very happy with it so far, although I've only done around 200 miles in it
