Quick update : ..................................

Plan to run the BBO 2007on either Saturday 27th October or Saturday 3rd November.

At present, the October date is looking favourite plus you will all get an hour extra in bed when you get home after it as the clocks go back that night so there is no excuse and you cant blame me for not thinking about you all lol.

Also, the run to the meeting point and from the meeting point to the start of the lights WILL be signposted with triangles (similar to rally setup) so that if you do get lost you should be able to find your way back on track quite easy.

Another update.....................

The meeting location has been finalised but a major dilema is that to use the location i need to submit to the land owner a certificate of public liability insurance before they give me the green light.
Insurance for this event comes in at around the £150 mark. I would either need someone coming along who has public liability insurance to let me use their certificate or purchase the insurance myself. If it comes to me having to purchase the insurance does anyone have any quarms about each car putting an extra couple of quid into a seperate bucket to fund the insurance? Obviously anything left in this bucket after the insurance has been paid for will go into the main charity bucket.
Need feedback ASAP on this guys and girls so i can get things finalised.

I've always made my passengers pay a fiver each as well as the car anyway so no probs with chippin in towards the PL insurance.
Where is the proposed meet up site owned by said uncharitable owner lacking the scooby spirit?
What if one of us gives them a spin 'round the block
