I nearly won the class for the over 50's, sponsored by SAGA would you believe, but Roy Standly won and really didn't want to collect the trophy (which was NOT a gold plated Zimmer).

Hill climbing was for the gentlemen of the sport,, but fast Imprezas have seen to that!

I think modified cars scare some people...

Let's hope a hillclimber buys the Fast One this weekend.

This must be the strangest 'For Sale' thread ever?
Bit typical of the whole Scooby thing really.

Going well at Prescott hillclimb, and a few 'nibbles' at the car and swop/sale 'projects' one is just right.

Thanks Rob.
Was made an offer last night for the full 12K but I had to refuse it.

Can't find anything else that 12K will help buy that meets my 'dream'

After all the graft, bloody hard to part with!

Now what do I do?

You do not know the circumstances.
I actually know the 'buyer' well and 'saved' him £11K as he is now fixing his car for £1K as i thought he would save his car easy.

I certainly did not waste his time, but as a friend of his, saved him spending a lot of money needlessly.

Those are the facts.

I dont think he did either J, so I thought I'd shut up (for once) I was considering having a look at the car as the trackday bug may have bitten again. I think I will be driving a younger EVO 7 home within a matter of 2 hours. Gulp! You must come and play if i do!

Good luck with the sale/keeping G

I meant no offense to you.

This weekend has seen me 'racing' handle to handle with the blue Zen TA car.
That car has about 700 bhp/tonne and I have 300 bhp/tonne, f!ck me it friggin fast.

I really am tempted to keep the STi and roach it free of any excess and pop a forged 2.5/ppg in it to move on.

A lot to consider over the next few weeks.

I have actually TURNED-DOWN an offer of £12K for the car which must mean it will be staying and you lot will suffer more endless pages of bumpf about it.....

Back in some jap crap again D, top job. I'll have to pop down when i get a minute. Not much of them for a while yet but when the racing stops i'll be in touch.

The Zen car goes quite nicely doesnt it.

Thank you for the free bump David.

Absolutly no interest on Snet/22B for this car except a few asking about how I did this n that.

I am now going to go on hols for 2 weeks to think a few ideas through, but the very hot fav is to gut it and make a real hillclimb focused car of it, and if I can still keep it 'roadable; so much the better.

This will mean a year of work/spending and I'll race my trusty 911 in 2008 to keep my hand in.

A 500 x 500 2.5/ppg/6 speeder and glass doors/perspex windows excet for the screen with a weight target of 1000Kg.

That should be enough to frighten me and the track marshals.

If you can't beat them, join them.

Graham.
