update - spoken to the company that he's signed the contract with and they didn't even know that he was only 16. they've said that the contract id with him and not me. luckily the company isn't a limited one otherwise it could have been. so they are going to ask him to sign a new contract. in the mean time i am going to rebrand myself as i think it's a good opertunity to go for something a bit more glitzy and something that is just me. i'm going to hold onto horizondetailing.co.uk just because i can and it won't let him have his own way

nate had a chat with someone at work earlier regarding that.

 

To be honest the way information spreads around the internet this guys foolish actions wont go unmissed, I suspect it will seriously harm any business intentions he may have.

Note he registered his domain name after yours, I always make a point of buying the .com and .co.uk to protect any identity.

will be registering .com and .co.uk next time. also going to look at copyrighting / trademarking the name as i'll be going for something a lot more individual.

 

Also look at buying a ltd company too

 

yup. have companies house forms 10 and 12 in my bag.

the name i have now is still available as a limited company. for the sake of £20 and then filing dormant accounts each year, i'm almost tempted to register it so he can't lol. think it's worth it?

update on the ferret that caused all the problems; he's agreed to change his name as well. a polite word in his ear was all that was needed. will wait to see what happens.
