Total Impreza Magazine
Mine arrived today.....Bloody other half nicked it out of my hand after just removing it from the packaging........GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR women.......
I have a sugestion for the production team from the mag.......
I think it would make good reading if you were to target one of the clubs each month and run a feature, that should give you plenty of scope for a few months.
I know we at Cumbrian Scoobs would be more than happy to invite you too one of our monthly meets at The sportsman just out side Cockermouth, second Wed of each month.
Or better still do ours at the NBO next year, not sure of the date at the moment but can confirm the date if you are interested.

Got mine too.. fantastic mag... liked the readers car section the best... thought the pictures were good too.. bout time our marque had its own mag, all round it will make an inviting wait for the next edition.. well done to total impreza
Got mine first thing Sat. morning. Very nice mag, etc, although the printing seems to reproduce a bit on the dark side and the colours a little muted. However, read it cover to cover within about a couple of hours, on and off
.
I know it's only the first issue so don't take the below as critisisms, they're simply suggestions (which T.I. are probably considering anyhow)...
- Subjective (plus objective if you have the time and resources) drives of readers'/tuners' feature cars.
- Please include technical features of all the various styling, mechanical and electrical bits, etc. that go to make up Imprezas, for all turbo cars... WRX, STi, Type RA, Type R, RB5, P1, 22B, New Age, etc, etc... Tech. features on both OEM parts and after-market stuff will ensure a healthy content for the run of the magazine.
- Group test comparisons of after market tuning products, e.g. ECUs, tyres, brakes, exhausts, etc., etc... (most helpful)

...Oops, I didn't mean to leave out our UK Turbo 2000 4WD (inc. McRae, Catalunya and Terzo), Sport and GL brothers
Arrived a few days ago and I eagerly clawed it open, but tbh, it's now the next week and I've still not got round to finishing it. And I'm a fast reader, I polish off Evo in a day and when I used to get Japanese Performance, CCC, Used Car Buyer, whatever, it would be the same.
Not sure what Total Impreza is lacking, maybe it's just because it's the first issue there a lack of focus. People moaned about Scooby mag, but I did like the format, plenty of tech articles, just as Japanese Performance used to when they had the WRX from month to month. I think in my twenties I was interested in meets and readers' cars, event reports, products of the month, but I've been there and done that with mags like Performance GTi etc in the past. Now all I want is tech articles and tech specs. Maybe it's just me. And it kind of makes it dull having it all just Imprezas as well. I used to like the crazy Foresters that they had in Scooby mag...
And yes, before smartarse says it, I know it's called Total IMPREZA so what did I expect to find but Imprezas. It's just my thoughts and you can take them or leave them. I've got a subscription anyway so hope to see more go and less show on the pages of TI issues to come.
