My first issue dropped through the letterbox yesterday and after reading mixed comments on here I was quite sceptical about what I had subscribed to. Having said that I must admit that I am impressed and even the anti-scooby clan at work are showing far more interest than they would like to admit

Personally I'd quite like to see a series of articles in the mag aimed at scooby newbies like myself - there's so much to learn about the car, the engine, the performance, the styling, the mods, the tuners, the regional clubs, meetings and the whole scooby community in general!

 

I think most of the mixed reactions were on the previous issues this last one I think seemed to get a universal seal of approval pretty much !

 

Certainly gets my seal of approval.

ordered th mag, im sure i says if you buy now you get the previous month sent to you?? am i wrong insaying that?? will i receive one in aug??

 

picked a copy of the mag up off the shelf, just finished reading it several times, quite liked it but thought that it could do with a bit more info on specific makes and why they were made. Enjoyed it and will be looking out 4 the next issue. Would like to see a bit of info on common faults found on the cars and where to find replacement parts etc

i dont think issue 5 is out yet thers only 4 issues out atm

Stuart Bell here from Total Impreza with a quick response to the above link.

Total Impreza Autumn 08 issue will publish as usual this coming Monday (1st Sept).

The magazine is better than ever and on sale in over 1800 newsagents accross the UK and Ireland.

Subscribers have been sent letters yesterday detailing a few changes to the company (plus some exciting news which we won't tell you about just now ) so there is nothing to worry about.

No dis-respect to yourself, but after contacting Lesley via email several months ago and being promised a reply by yourself by her (over something you may/may not have been interested in), I never recoeved a reply from either of you.


That put me off renewing my subscription unfortunatley.

As mentioned at the time, we cant cover all cars that we are asked to - the format is to send your car to your club organiser and they will decide if it goes forward for a club car (1 per club per issue).

Please do contact you regional organiser and have your car put forward.

any chance you could reply to my question i mailed you? about being promised a readers feature in this next issue been told that pictures have been sent off and i sent a paragraph of 600 words for the feature aswell??

just a quick one....and i know i will get replies to this,unlike the total impreza mag people...who i have emailed 4 times in 3 weeks and finally got a reply this morning...but with no relevent answer.... it stated that anyone who made an enquiry about outlets for the mag would recieve an email saying who is stocking it...well am still waiting
does anyone know any of the main newsagents or petrol stations stocking the mag on their shelves.....all i want to do is read a copy before i decide to subscribe to it...thats not much to ask it it.???
