i could really do with getting mine on the rollers now. as the guys at brands yesterday will tell you it seems to be running a little rich at idle. will be good to see if it leans out higher up the rev range. if not it'll get some monster flames when the kit goes on. already pops and bangs

EA just got back to me.....

Nothing really available until Sunday 21st October or Sunday 28th October?

The 28th is the day after Tunnel Run......?

I'll give it until tomorrow then book one of the dates....

The price is £30 for 2 runs and a print out

I have been out and about today and came across a flyer for a local garage here in Basildon, advertising Rolling Road sessions for £35 every 2nd Sunday of the month.
Whilst he's currently on Hunnymoon till thursday, he's quite a decent bloke (I have used him myself in the past) and I feel he would do some kind of discount if there were enough of us going. Obviously if your all quite happy waiting till October for you session, then thats fine, but I think we could have something set up by the 2nd weekend in September possibly - which is only a week on Sunday, possibly sooner even?
I'm not wanting to take over someone elses event planning here, but seeing the thread here, and myself not wanting to wait till October, thought I'd give it a mention, see what you all thought? I'l be going along there to see him on Thursday afternoon, if people want to go along with this then I can mention it to him then?

28th October would be my preferred date.

Have been thinking about this for a while now, if we can get enough ESC runners signed up I'd like to offer up some prizes , perhaps highest run classic of the day, highest WRX, highest STI etc. and perhaps a prize for the runner closest to their estimated output so anyone has a chance of winning something.

What do you guys think, any ideas?

Wow This is great thanks Zak..... We'll discuss it when I next pop down (lol)

Gooner.... it's always handy having another dyno to use, but as a lot of us have run our cars at EA before I'll say we'll stick with them for now....

BUT.... I'd be interested in the detaqils of the other venue for the future.

So 28th it is

Spoke to Paul at EA no deposits are required but athere is a 10 car min.

Can I get everyone on the list to mark confirmed next to their name. This means they will attend and will pay the £30 even if they miss the event.....

Thats fine - the only reason I mentioned it was because before the arranged 28th date I was hoping to have my re-map done, and I'd like to have the "before and after" results done. I'll still be going down to Redline Tuning in Basildon to have mine done - but hope to join you also on the 28th, hopfully after the re-map is done.

Bibo - can i suggest that you take payment to make sure that people will attend. Have found in the past that numbers drop unless settled up before hand, karting for example.

Good idea, this will ensure the day has genuine interest rather than the usual talk and ensures that EA know how many they will have in attendance
