No David, you're not.

I've no experience of API but have heard nothing but good reports so i therefor cannot add anything to the contrary nor do i wish or have reason to.

My comments re: SC were based on my experience and indeed some of their work. A prime example of which ironically is NOT my car and is sitting on my drive at the minute waiting to be rectified.

I wasn't making a sweeping generalisation my statements are based on my own observations. Kev wrongly assumed that my comments were because of an outstanding issue that myself and scooby clinic have, He couldn't have been more wrong.

Agree with daz personally,i know of a couple of ppl less than happy with sc`s work/prices(based on quote) im not doubting that with the amount of cars they turn around your bound to get a few owners who arent satisfied however based on a couple of ppl`s experiences take mine to either Zen performance at northampton or RCMS leicester an i live around 20mins from scoobyclinic-if i were to use em would be for 2nd hand parts i were after as theyre usually breaking a few.

At the end of the day though ya get what ya pay for i guess-yer rcms are expensive an thats probably their only fault to most on here however its not as big a place as you may think turnover aint their thing as im sure anyone who`s bin in their garage will tell you its immaculate an theirs usually a few rally cars kicking about theyre working on.

Paul @Zen takes some beating (IMO) very good quality work at the right price and will go out his way to help you, Took mine there last yr for problem with 5th gear ie couldnt get it(usual syncro, selector, gear hub prob) also lightened flywheel and exedy organic clutch.
