no dates yet, have got to sort a pitch then hopefullly bug a few local business to donate some auction items etc etc.

Realistically am looking for a mid week evening game some time towards the end of sep/beginning of oct.

had some knock backs today regarding a pitch. So will be visiting a few places over the weekend.

Ideally would like to get a ground with a stadium, but needs must and will take whatever i can get.

Thanks to Chris am trying Maldon FC now aswell. Will try and get a weekend if poss, but due to the footy season starting i think that could be difficult.

Don't know if it helps but Castle Green sports & Leisure centre on the A13 rent their pitch out.Reasonable price to from what i remember.

tiny had no joy with the main clubs. although have a call from maldon i have to ring back. Will be speaking with them monday, so fingers crossed.

right after a slow start looks like we are getting close to having a football match. Tried some of the bigger clubs around essex with no joy. So am now, with ABW's help, trying some smaller local grounds. Fingers crossed should be getting a few dates in the next couple of days.

If you are really desperate and need a goal keeper come defender at my age I'm not running around to much. Actually only hung up the boots last year at the ripe old age of 51.
If the date is OK and you are I'm up for this. what am I saying.
