They shared a cab
I don't expect anymore than a point tonight, and a home win for Sporting is 3/1 with Utd at 11/10 the usual **** taking by the bookies making the English team clear faves, I just hope we get our ***** into gear tonight, we certainly have two players wanting to make a point Ronny and Granny.
Good to have the old ECL back all the same

United looked average but job done. Nice goal and VDS made two top drawer saves.
The **** looked to have shown Sevilla how to play football. Barca looked to be enjoying themselves as well. Good result for Rangers.

Cracking result for Rangers but youve got to say its the easiest game of their group.
United cant complain either with an away win.
I watched the Arsenal game instead and they really played some top class football. The do seem to be lacking that killer pass that they possessed when Ljundberg, Pires and Henry were playing together. Something seems to be missing, my guess would be a footballer instead of that donkey Adebayor Must admit he can show some flashes of skill but most of the time I just feel nobody wants to get too close to him and challenge because of the flying arms and legs that he possesses.

another 4 for United. Anderson is looking like he can develop into a very good player.
Arsenal looked irresistible tonight with the goals they scored. Be a very good player who beats Fabregas to player of the season.

I told my mate last night (Man Utd supporter) Im choosing to watch arsenal instead as theyre more entertaining.. He didnt believe me and banged on about United but Arsenal proved last night nobody in the world plays nicer more effective football when on form that Arsenal. Would be nice to see them keep that form all season rather than go off the boil as they do sometimes.

Henry leaving was the best thing for that team despite my protests at the time (mainly over the price tag), they were living in his shaddow and centring everything on him. Now he's gone look how many different goal scoreres we have
That was the best display of attacking football I have ever seen from an Arsenal team

Just messing Arsenal are pretty but I think United have more in their arsenal (excuse the pun) with regards to how they can score. at least they're showing the two best attacking teams in the country are the ones looking the best teams.

Agree, sometimes Arsenal try to hard to walk it into the net if you like whereas I find United stick to the simple stuff a bit more. i.e. Get the winger up the line and put the ball in the box. Simple proven method

Ronaldo's 1st was a peach of a run from Giggs and then a great cross on the run, Ronaldo adjusted himself brilliantly and buried the header, superb.
It's a shame Utd and Arsenal are always on the same night, exciting football from two teams one night dull as ditch water the next from the other two, it's been like this for 3 seasons now!
Agree with STi, Anderson looked very good again last night, he's been looking better and better as the games have passed, if Anderson and Nani improve as Ronaldo has in the past6 3 years we are in for a treat, thats not to mention Rooney and Tevez getting better and better as a partnership.
Walcott showed his class last night, hopefully Rooneys strikle partner up front for England in the near future

I agree, both Chelsea and Liverpool should be ITV 4 viewing only

I think the demolition of Inter was rather enjoyable (possibly because it was against a better side).

Indeed and who says we never give English youth a chance ,did enjoy the look on their managers face poor bugger must have wondered wtf was going on.
Arsene must have enjoyed his birthday with this result and seeing Spurs crumble the night before.

One thing I will add about the opposition, they were 100% professional in their handling of such a thumping. There are plenty of teams in the Premiership who would start going over the top with tackles/being dirty and by trying to disrupt the game when being given such a thumping. However at no time did Slavia Prague do anything but try to play football last night and that was good to see
